Craignews - fair point. This is one of the risks/unknowns for investors to counterbalance with the knowns and positives.

I think it’s a bigger risk to be on the sidelines next week than invested.

Based on other people’s estimations, with many assumptions, the company could be valued at $450-600m (also using a PE of 15, the average for similar companies). Therefore 10-14p per share.

Of course there are several factors that could increase this for HE1 (hydrogen; free flowing helium, and PEs of up to 50), so the biggest optimists could say 50p+

I think we will see little movement in the share price this week and next, and probably a slight drift down.

Likely to be more sellers tomorrow onwards: some of the recipients of the placing shares (forget “forward selling” of AIM shares) will make disposals BUT the volume will get swallowed fairly quickly (was only 10% of ISC).

I did consider selling some (to buy back cheaper next week) but given the spread, and the risk of a positive RNS, I’m staying IN IN, and going OUT OUT with the Missus instead.

Approximately 10% dilution - so SP around 1.85-1.95p today.

- the positive: Noble’s confirmation of a Helium “discovery” today should help confirm that this is a big Helium region. You may wish to increase your holding in HE1.

- the neutral: there will be a significant wait before we hear about financing: this will keep our share price around current levels. Boring, but just do nothing

- the negative: all previous fund raises have been dilutive, so a possibility that the next one will be. So may be sensible to sell some ,or all, of your shares on the hope of buying back in cheaper

There are, of course, other factors but you decide.

AgentB - please do shoot me down, but from other mining type companies the rule of thumb I've seen was 10% of the value of commodity - therefore this may be more like 1p per bcf for HE1?

Still would equate to 54p per share (although that estimate is over 7 years old), and that would give me enough for a good night out in 'Spoons.

I use HL - I was able to deal initially (2.5p) but no quotes for last 5 mins to buy (or sell).

By 7:01 tomorrow we will all still be waiting for the big RNS and just posting on here with nervous boredom as HE1 trades in a small range.

Ship - to be open, I am long on this, but most drills are commercially unsuccessful so the odds are shorter than they were 2 weeks ago, but still long in my view.

And I’m rubbish at roulette - I’ve visited an Austrian casino and put half my money on red, then the remaining half on black, and left after 15 minutes.

Many risks now removed (dodgy rig breaking; bad weather; running out of cash etc). So much ammunition removed for derampers.

False positives still being overplayed or ramped (this was 27p; Lorna smiled alot etc).

It all comes down to has HE1 made a discovery - Guess and Wait a few days, and hope you have your position correct (short; zero; or long). Feels like a roulette bet on number 0, but exciting nonetheless.

Yes, but most do come out at 7am -

these announcements are prepared, checked and normally submitted with a delayed release. Any news between 4:30pm and 6:59am are almost always first seen at 7am.

So I think we will keep waiting until next week on this one.

I really must get a life, but today (and possibly next week too), I’m counting down the minutes to the 7am RNS announcements (I use investegate.co.uk). Personally I’d hate to miss the boat and not be long in HE1 at the moment.

This is such a gamble, but the result could be life changing (or just another AIM disappointment). Good luck all.

Either the US opens 15% down, else the UK listing price makes a significant jump - we will know around 2:30pm today.

There are some great posters on here, as well as some others (on both sides of the trade)

Compared with previous AIM mining companies I've invested in

- the comms from HE1 (official RNS, as well as via X etc) are exceptionally good (frequency, timeliness, and content)

- the likelihood of there being a discovery has increased this year, including this week

- there's enough cash for a significant period

- the geopolitical risk is relatively low

- the things going wrong (so far) are all fixable and very quickly.

Still loads of risk but surely everyone already appreciates that, and that's what drives the potential for profits.

So we just have to be patient, wait, and go and find something better to do with our time.

Sinequanon - thank you for points. In my experience a share price rarely goes down on a number of consecutive days when there are more buys than sells.
