Shame on many of you for rounding on someone who’s got a different view to you. Even more ridiculous is the fact that he’s been right over the last few weeks.

And just because someone gets loads of “likes” does not mean they are right - just saying what you want to hear.

Let’s be honest, all of us investors with a long position are very worried about the significant SP fall. It’s not market manipulation etc, there are more sellers than buyers.

RogerJ - I agree that people may try to ramp/deramp and post multiple times - this does not prove that it works at all though. Others also look for posters who have only been around on here for months, and not years, as a red flag - but that would obviously be a generalisation.

I’ll leave you be, and think we are aligned in hoping that HE1 has a hugely successful drill and that many people make money.

Rogerjolly - thanks for your reply. Similarly the BS saying the share price is being manipulated, or thinking a posting on here will influence the SP etc is equally tiresome, but many people just ignore/filter it out.

I’m a recent investor here - some of you come across as being closed to any constructive criticism of HE1. It’s much better to be open to hearing both sides rather than trying to shut down anyone who isn’t aligned with you - may save you a few quid too.

So as at 30 June they had $4.4m (ignoring the 1m restricted). That’s about £3.5m or about 0.25pps. And expenses over 6 months expected to be less than £0.2m. Wait for a return of cash of roughly double the last market price, or some surprisingly stellar deal!

I think we should all go and do something else for a week or 2 - nothing to see here for a while.

Just rechecked the issue documents

“The Retail Offer is expected to close at 9:00 p.m. on 6 September 2023 and may close early if it is oversubscribed”.

So one must assume that it sold out 2 hours before the deadline. Good news if you are invested here.

And the 3 hour retail investor window to subscribe has been closed an hour early!!

Possibly a good sign - hit their funding target early?

It’s buy for me at 6p to minimise/avoid the dilution of my holding.

SP should tend slightly down tomorrow, to reflect the maths of the discounted shares (and then lower still if seen as a negative fund raising action, or higher if positive). I’m leaning towards the latter but this extremely rushed “cash box” funding could look desperate (first I’ve heard of this method in 40 years of investing) . But what the hell do I know?

Fair comment. There are a number of red flags, but the potential upside is large. Only you can decide if the risk is a good one.

Reminder to self: get a life

About 2 months ago I estimated that the remaining cash was £4.5m/ 0.33p per share (as below). They may have used up another £0.1-0.2m since, but still suggests the cash is currently worth 0.3pps. Extrapolating this another 6 months, say using £0.5m, then we are still left with 0.25pps?

As before, please disagree, and this company/BoD has nearly always disappointed, but worth holding on and dare I say even buying?!

You can see those who are trying to talk up this share a bit too much (1 in particular); and a few doing the opposite. But as long as there's some basis for the comments (and not just repeating "I think this will go boom/multibagger") then this is the purpose of having this website and it's good to read conflicting judgements.

So other than a few who are now "ignored" please keep the comments coming.

For what it's worth I'm ignoring the current share price as we are in a wait period, and suspect we won't hear much until late Sept, possibly even Oct, but that's OK. In the meantime, if the SP drifts to 5p, or moves up to 7p+ on no news, then I couldn't care less.

Sadly, as I thought. Any suggestion of potential downside is swiftly dismissed by multiple posters, with emojis used to try and ridicule.

I’ll just watch on in future, not worth engaging on this site (and to be fair it’s consistently like this across most stocks on here).

I haven’t invested in this stock yet, but thought I’d share some thoughts (from bitter experience). Hope I don’t just get shot down for saying something potentially negative.

- there is an overall bias on here to talking up this share (be wary). I fell for this on other mining stocks, and have since seen those same “rampers” declaring their trading (not holding) profits

- positive talk/spin from the Chair, CEO, is the norm in all companies. Do some research of the Directors performance at other companies

- from what I can see/read this is still a massive gamble: if the drilling discovers nowt, then what will be left?

- any likely cash raising will be at a discount and to institutional type investors: this would cause dilution to private investor’s holdings

Just my thoughts, and good luck to you all.

The Astana SE is seeing increased volumes, although still not big, with the buy side picking up with prices above $4 and creeping up. Is potentially good news due re dividends etc?

For what it’s worth I’ve used Freedom Finance before and they are very good.
