40p may well be cheap. But its still x26 current share price! I don't think its likely until after the test accuracy is established in this latest format, in the clinical trials, though I've said before ciz will already have a good idea of this before they decided to proseed to the talks with Ciz Bio.

Also on chatter here not impacting price. I disagree. MMs move the price on sales/buys of relatively small numbers of shares, easily within the holdings of one or two PIs or traders.

Easy for talk on here to tip someone wavering to a buy or sell based on sentiment. MMs will happily drop a price if sentiment is hit. Until revenue is generated, a share price is mostly sentiment.

I mean, big investors paid 2p weeks ago. Today its 1.55p. Nothing has changed but PI sentiment. And that will change back soon enough.

Not a fear for me Jace, as long as the buyout price is right. But yes, if they like what they see, and think they could get a bargain, they could make an offer.

Shareholders aren't going to sell for less than around 40p though, I'd guess. They invested at 10p just three years ago.

I don't think that is likely until ciz has the test through trials. They allegedly raised their own funds to do that (though I suspect that was more about having bargaining power when negotiating with Ciz Bio - "we have alternatives").

The quicker the test gets to initial market and is proved to work, the easier it will become to roll it out elsewhere. Results from US trials will help certification in the UK, IMO.

As explained in previous interviews, the US has been selected because

a) its the quickest route to market via an LDT

b) its a larger market

Ciz doesn't have the bandwidth to be running mutiple trials in multiple countries.

Yes, you are probably correct, that AS and BB as ASCO suggest things are progressing along the lines of the MOU. But I'm not assuming that. I wouldn't see that in as catastrophic a way as you, but that is because I think ciz hold all the cards 😉 and could, with time, do a deal with Biotechne or others if they had need to.

As ever, appreciate your openess on your positition. I'm under on this share too currently, not by a huge % but by non-trivial cash amounts. If I had more funds I'd be buying more at these low levels. Fantastic time to be a new investor here IMHO.

I understand the FOMO thing, and maybe that is why Widglide is still here. OBD, despite its subsequent disasters, opened at x3 closing price on its test news and doubled again in short order to 50M mc. So the re-rate on the right news could be big.

But equally, it could be a bad if it goes wrong! So right that people invest at a level they are comfortable with.

TT, Sorry you feel I've lost my sense of humour. I'm actually more relaxed now than for a long while, sunshine and summer, plus new timescale means I'm not on LSE boards as frequently and all the better for it! But I do feel that the going private talk has no real basis at all.

Where did i say i think they should only communicate 'real updates'. Apologies if I've forgotten, my memory is not what it once was! But as it happens, you are not too far off the mark. We should be RNS'ing important info that would impact market value, but not be giving a running commentary daily operations.

I would have preferred them to RNS the $100k for belt and braces comms. Because that to me is an important update. But they haven't. I'm sure someone can ask them why at the AGM. But my working assumption is they haven't received it, and ciz is open to discuss alternative funding with others, but that is me erring on the side of caution. But that may not be the case of course, which is why I think it should be RNSd either way. I do wish ciz would be more open. Oilers give bad and good news regularly, and the SP responds accordingly.

But ultimately I believe in the tech, and I have done nothing to help or advance that tech. I am a mere limpet, hoping to piggyback on the success of others.

My choice to remain invested in a company that doesn't communicate as often as i might like.

I do find it strange that you remain invested in a company you have no trust for. Time will tell, but if I thought the board was out to shaft me, I'd be out of this share like a shot. Hence why I fnd it inexplicable that widglide is still here. He could have taken his £x that remains and put it in any number of shares that have done multiples over that time. Our TR1 holders are still here, patiently waiting.

I think that ciz's contentment to let the SP lurk low is that they know the value only comes when they have a product in the market. And if its as good as previous reported results in lab format, we are talking a MAJOR re-rate overnight. Not just based on income from US roll out, but on proving that it can be commercialised, and thus rolled out worldwide.

Meantime, I'll enjoy the summer and wait for things to progress.

Suggesting ciz we will delist feels like defensive pessimism, paranoia or de-ramping IMO.

Others like octp have delisted becuase their share price has been utterly hammered and they have been unable to raise funds at levels they think reasonable.

Ciz has had no such difficulty in raising from existing holders.

Yes i I suspect ciz Bio will also list if a success, and through its equity stake in this, and in CDT, ciz will have dual exposure to nasdaq without the cost of listing itself.

If it did want to list, there is nothing stopping ciz having a dual listing if it deemed it necessary. No need to go private first.

And i doubt the predominantly British charities funding ciz will have an appetitite for a high risk nasdaq listing. Lots of risk, no guarantees it will be a benefit.

And yes, as Jace says, you still have the shares (though they will need to come out of your ISA) and you’ll just have to wait until the relist to sell them easily.

There is a simple reason why there is no publicity. Because we dont have a product yet!

And we dont know its accuracy/specificity in the production format!

These are the milestones for a revaluation and always have been.

BIOs benefit to acting now, early, is they get in more cheaply than they would once accuracy/specificity are proven at scale. I suspect ciz already knows rough outcome of this already from their own work on Jess platform. And i suspect Behnke does too, hence why going to the bother of setting up BIO.

We're currently trading to at a 16% discount to this placing. I picked up £500 at 1.6499 this am. Some folks have got a bargain at scale too.

"15% revenue has slipped to 10%" and ignoring the 10% equity stake in Ciz Bio, the funding of the US development and guaranteed min payments, all of which are very big deals for a company like ciz.

Who is the one ignoring "information before your eyes"?

Of course its not a done deal. But odd that you continually ignore that part of the proposal.
