Bit like changing utilities providers for a cheaper rate, always think if you are happy with whom you are with then there has to be a hefty premium to change. Better the devil you know.
Am with HL and find service very good although I have no comparison in reality to what service other brokers provide, sure liquidity at the "wrong time" is more a generic issue with AIM rather than specific to Brokers.

well it is repaid as a credit in any case if you trade enough so should be easily recoverable even for the occasional trader.

depends how often you trade but looks a reasonable offer, fixed quarterly charge needs to be taken into account also so may not suit all.

you would almost the MMs are making this up as they go along, some will of course have lower commissions to pay but I am sure we are in this range for a while yet.

Bothwell looks like to me as good as a penny a share once commission paid.
