But that represents the whole company and resources are not reserves and no one would pay $3 per barrel for resources.

Plus remember PANR state that quality bank adjustment will mean a shrinkage factor of ~10% for any oil PANR put into TAPs per company website.

Even the much quoted Armstrong/Oil Search deal was not really $3, Oil Search's calculation of discovered oil was a lot less than Bill's.

I too would welcome a detailed breakdown as to how that 4.5B figure was reached, I suspect an awful lot of assumptions made but

will we ever get a full explanation.

Ice roads prep would begin December most likely and company would need to secure rig etc prior to that, just to late.

Can't see any of the major's you mention buyong in, two of the three have recently taken on fresh acreage in fed and state acreage and the other's (Hilcorp) strategy is based around buying existing old fields and getting more oil out of them via enhanced recovery techniques.

But there are still plenty of fish in the sea so I hope for early news (pre Autumn) to enable drill next winter season.

Agree, rather than moaning on bulletin board or just tucking in bottom drawer and forgetting, shareholders should consider resolutions and vote accordingly But unfortunately to late now for UK holders via Crest if I understand correctly.

Take a look at us a decade ago when we had similar resource figures at Icewine, unfortunately resource figures mean very little unless you can get the oil out of the ground.

I am hopeful that we may find better ground at South Prudhoe and KAD River East plus of course Namibia but there are still a lot of ducks to get in a row.
