Phoenix and Aphun both exhibit tight oil characteristsics which may not be over exciting to majors, the latter with the exception of Repsol seem to have shown a preference for the geology of the NPRA based on the results of the last BLM(federal) sale.

Had PANR's DUBHE-1 produced positive results I am sure BEX would have taken advantage of the positivity and pushed harder but it is what it is.

In the meantime they have to scrape together the ~US$1.6M balance in respect of the leases they acquired last November and any other existing lease rental obligations due and the possibility of ceding partial working interest to 88E as security.

Could be all sorts of deals being discussed with all sorts of interested parties, personally after Megrez, Aphun and even Alkaid-2 (which was imo a qualified success) and then the change in leadership and announced strategy I do wonder how strong our hand actually is.

Just look at what Santos(Oil Search) have achieved since November 2017 and then more importantly how much money that has cost, yes we are closer to infrastructure but to make Kodiak a success will still require large sums expended on connection to TAP and any partner will understand that.

Santos are drilling wells testing out at +~ 2000 BOPD so far we have seen nothing like that so far, admittably Kodiak has potential for better porosity and permeability but it's still unproven.

I have seen no Plan of Operations submitted in respect of Franklin Bluff well so a delay is pretty definite, one positive is that the well is slated to drilled on the gravel pad at FB so the drill and testing is not restrained the need for activity to be within Jan-April window.

Agree that South Prudhoes seems to offer potential for fast track development, hopefully we can negoiate a decent farm out to enable early (Q1/27) and gain some momentum again after a quiet patch.

I think that the inability of PANR to produce a definite result at Dubhe-1 (at least so far) has possibly had more of an impact than the SEC delays ever did, Bex probably relied on a good result at Dubhe-1 (only ~4 miles from Hickory-1) to entice investors.
