Although I appreciate the strategic need to secure the additional leases in 2023 it it frustrating that the additional acreage meant the need for an Environmental Impact Statement, based on Bob R's statement at the time seems it was also a surprise for GBP (PANR).

Not sure if the ESI actually relates to our whole project or just Kodiak and if the latter why we could not persue earlier production at Aphun as Bob originally intimated.

I share your hopes but If the well flows really well (a distinct possibility given the porosity and column depth) and as a result is a conclusive success it may be that DOG/AOGCC will pressure GBP to curtail the test to limit flaring, we do seem to have a good relationship with the authorities but there may be environmental pressures that are difficult to ignore.

I am unsure after looking at Surprise Valley's website at to what their intentions actually are, I am unsure if they have any plans to be the actual operator or whether there is an unknown in the background.

3D shot by GBP becomes public property at very competitive price in 2027 which may or may not prove a real boon for the person owning/operating those leases.

As you say it would be interesting to have views of BOD as they possibly know via seismic what is there, but again they may reasonably prefer to keep counsel.

Thank you very much for posting your views based on experience as to what happens in AIM.

I often see posters citing the reason they use stop losses is that it stops their broker lending out shares for shorting purposes, I use HL and they expressly state within their rules that they will not lend shares out, so for me that is enough.

Also I wonder if OTC has any impact, on the days that they (brokers) see big movement in SP and volumes (accepted small by AIM standard) but big enough to make some difference if consolidated into one buy or sell.

As an example yesterday OTC saw a fall in SP to mirror AIM and volumes were ~5 times higher than 10 day average.

Must admit I had not considered the possibility of 88E bidding in the North Slope Lease Sale, that they have bid on and secured 4 leases adjacent to Leonis gives me a little optimism that they may found something of potential.

Deposit paid ~ US$56K (20%) balance ~mid 2025.

Of course the acid test will be if they can secure a partner to help explore and develop the working unit ,so lets see what happens.

Still awaiting news on Phoenix (Bex) so perhaps that will come as a surprise too :-)

Surprise Valley have taken a block of leases to East of ours, if I am reading correctly 3D seismic shot by GBP becomes public in 2027 over the block.
