Just remember if the full LNG project gets built it will include a gas treatment plant at Deadhorse/Prudhoe so there will be other potential suppliers from current existing oil fields to meet demand above and beyond GBP's ability to supply.

Much of the reason for the stretching out of first production was the need for an EIS and the time that would take but that included a large "overrun potential", so heres hoping that will not be needed, there is good news on the pipeline and the company can get into top gear.

If they expect investment from Japan & Korea then I suspect it will be the full LNG project, but who knows at the moment :-)

If AGDC needs that much gas from day 1 it implies that they are beyond "phase 1" and possibly in full project stage which will include gas treatment plant at Deadhorse / Prudhoe.

So there will be some need for money between now and then, but provided it is invested wisely no problem as far as I can see, what happens without cash in the bank- nothing!
