Quoted TD will be depth below Sea level any deviance would mean that actual length drilled would be greater.

Not sure if we have data to actually calculate and how much difference it makes, all I want is a "no problems" drill :-)

Amazing less than 4 years since 88E successful bidders on lease adjacent to their existing state leases, time flies, exemplifies the see saw nature of two party politics.

Looks as if the author is not a fan of Gov. Dunleavy and article is negatively slanted but it does detail some of the obstacles in the pathway to North Slope Gas.

Based on quoted timelines we will in any case be producing oil well and earning well before pipeline gets built.

I agree with what you say, My own view is that the NGP is far from a certainty you only need to look at how long it has been in progress.

Yes it would be great for PANR ( and possibly 88E) if there was an early decision reached but as you say PANR's project does not depend on it.

Based on the attached plans to the following link I do wonder if drilling will take longer than the norm as this is not a vertical drill.

Personally I am not over worried as to to how long it takes or the frequency of operational bulletins during the process, we are not time constrained (gravel pad) and the drill itself is only a means to an end, which I hope will be a successful and unequivocal flow test.

Like most operators on the North Slope they will utilise what they can and reinject the rest, it's a waste of of a product that could be sold and of course they will also have the cost of injection wells but it's not the end of the world.

There is another meeting planned for the Resources Committee in January but I got the distinct impression that the Chair was looking at the next legislature for any decision which will take us into 2025.

May be worth keeping an eye on Meetings to see what agenda holds.

Just one thing to add, although a nice "add on" the success or otherwise of the natural gas pipeline is not essential to PANR's Alaskan project.

Just watched the Resources Committe video, think it went much as I expected, it's a huge project that could bring lot's of benefits to Alaska but it also comes at a huge cost (even just Phase-1) and no one was ever going to put their hands up at last nights meeting (particulary at this legislature point)

Looks it will be on the agenda early next year when hopefully FEED funding will be authorised.
