DW has been saying for the last 8months that the Company's timetable will be subservient to that of any Tier 1 Farm Out partner.
You are right to be looking at the bigger picture on the slope a lot is going on and OSH reportedly only got involved on the slope after being invited by GBP to look at their leases (FD was ex. OSH) and OSH then went with Armstrong.

Been here since TPT days, had big deficit after the GALP disaster, bought big to average down and took advantage of any spikes since to trade and get into profit, I have done OK but it's nice to see confirmation that Jiddy's strategy has also worked 41% is OK in the real world.
By research I can see that many AIM companies are 70% plus down on their peak over the last 3 years, 88E are not the only company that has not lived up to early optimism, unlike many 88E still has vast promise and is still the operator on their venture.

can not access VOX Sep presentation at moment but 11 minutes in on the October interview DW does mention cores only obtained on one zone.

FullyEnergised yes Icewine#2V is suspended per Alaska oil & gas regulations, with a plug of diesel (from memory 1100') to prevent freezing.
Based on what DW has said in recent presentations do not think current layout will provide success, however perhaps a horizontal ?

See below, I am fairly sure that a reference was made that in one of the video interviews to fact that we had not got core samples at all target zones.
Not sure if fraccing was at wrong depths, perhaps more that fraccing was over done ultimately with the two zones joining up, the positive is that the fracs did not close up over the intervening period.

Not many companies in AIM that have NOT utilised " positive adjectives and statements of serious encouragement" .
Think you have to recognise also the positivity that radiated from our JV partner and was very much reflected in presentations and ANNs, Paul contributed slides to presentations for sure.
Not sure if we could have had a tested for conventional and unconventional in the same well, can remember LeMajor asking if a horizontal into Alpha from Icewine #2 was a possibility but can not remember the exact answer (if we got one).
I can also remember that we did lose some cores in Icewine#1 and that partially dictated the decision to go for Icewine#2V rather than "H".
Had Icewine#2V flowed we would have had our FO in my opinion and that would have accelerated the conventional programme, it has not yet and that is the crux of our problem today
I can also remember PB giving an explanation as to why the JV had expanded it's acreage considerably in the 2016, which was basically to keep others away.
Interestingly since 2016 88E has spent on LEASES by my reckoning (e&oe)

Relatively little compared to pre 2016 spend, will it bear fruit we will have to wait and see.

sbrown your memory is good Phrontist had a discussion with DW, I was involved for some of that and although no sensitive information was disclosed if left Phrontist & myself very comfortable and probably a little better educated as to how the process works.
My trust in DW remains, no man is perfect and he has taken quite a few knocks outside of his control including the sad loss of HRZ meister Paul Basinski, do not under estimate the loss to the unconventional project.

I think DOG/DNR/SOA would be deeply involved only if a working unit is being structured, not sure if we are at that stage yet.
I do accept that any transfers of working interests or royalties will involve the state even if only at administrative level.
Of course a wild card could be the entry of AIDEA into to the mix now that their involvement with Brooks Range Petroleum seems to be bearing fruit.
Bex 42% owned by Michael McFarlane, McGuire Oil & Gas also involved oil pedigrees from these and possibly others and still prepared to invest in GBP fire sale.
Use Phrontist's post to further your own research, he has done the "brain storming" , must have a wall covered in post it notes I should imagine :-)
So many potential factors, best to keep an open mind as to the opportunities and potential down sides.

Guzzler so what you are suggesting is that DW should not have taken the opportunity to raise funds when he had the opportunity, of course they will be raised at a discount what did you expect.
You post like someone very emotionally attached to this share even if un invested.

Take a look at most oil exploration companies on AIM and compare their 3 year high to where they are now, its pretty sobering.
Reason 88E is now my only AIM company.

22:18 strikes me that it is not just the invested who are emotionally attached to this share, plenty of evidence last few days :-)

From what DW has said about Icewine#2V possibly little chance of it flowing in current state but we probably have a good idea where to place the horizontal.
