No personal criticism intended, my view is majority of posters here (certainly long termers) are OK ( not "bent cops") but it is always wise to validate and do own research.
If you have had a reply from DW it will not be giving away "trade secrets" but you can't post it anyway due to BB rules always a difficult situation.

Could of course be just to tell us that our portion of the well bond has been returned by SOA and that negotiations continue.
Ultimately D45 is correct and in my opinion best to use others posts for own validation and research, but not everyone here is "bent cop".

Bob Dudley in Alaska last year talking about old wells in the Yukon and ANWR, Exxon doing deals with Jade Energy on lease butting ours and now COP giving the message.

DW was screwed by the differing rules regarding possible false markets applicable in ASX & AIM, the former accepted a trading halt the latter an immediate statement from the company and no trading halt.
It was a mess and I am still at a loss as to why some "geezer" on twitter could cause so much mayhem,
No doubt it made a few traders a bit of dosh and lost money for those who reacted in panic.

you would probably achieve more by emailing the CEOs of all the TIER1s and telling them to quit slacking and get on with their deals in Alaska :-)

Very interesting post 22:04 last night, is that a TIER1 saying we are happy to do smaller deals, if we believe the potential asset fits in well with our current strategy and asset base.
COP make lots of profit in Alaska, they also have leeway to purchase a lot more exploration acreage.
