As far as I am aware although individual permits have been approved to enable commencement of some operations we have not been notified that the overall plan has approval and we do not yet have that all important permit to drill.
I just urge a little caution, even if I feel that snow roads for example are a component of the overall plan and as such if commenced mean we have "ongoing operations".

Paragraph G in particular and what constitutes an "ongoing operation" need clarification, I have no doubt that DW sought some clarification from BLM but none was forthcoming immediately.
What choice did DW have?

I am hopeful of a early and positive resolution BUT we just do not know at the moment how this may play out and as politicians are involved common sense may not prevail.

Snow roads are not as "constructed" as ice roads and they much quicker to complete distinct possibility we have suspended operations, hopefully disruption to timescales will be minimal.

I know Aberdeenshire has plans for Hydrogen production and utilisation of that to replace gas/fuel oil heating over the next decades, I was not aware how possible it would be to convert current (modern) boilers, bit like when we converted from town to natural gas.

I have seen trials of vehicles running hydrogen / diesel mixes already and certainly HGV/PSV/ agricultural applications are producing good results.

Thanks 17:07 as I often say I use others posts to further my own research- that gas boiler stuff is interesting.

I would like to know how BLM actually feel about this, after all they were only doing their jobs when President Trump asked them to issue the ANWR leases sin super quick time after the sale results.
Spite? a smack on the wrists? will we ultimately see political appointments?

11:50 fair point, at the moment spud was planned February so no harm done YET, seems there is some discretion and our project has actually commenced (Snow Roads which form part of overall plan and are approved) so I am hopeful of positive news.

This is not just about Alaska BLM administers O& G Lease Sales on Federal Land in at least 11 states.
Massive impacts on those states in terms of revenues potentially if policy is pursued.
Many in Alaska (including Native Tribes) actually prosper from O & G and mining activities.
