After a looking at some of the tract numbers, some of the leases (16 tracts) are simply repurchases of leases rescinded Dec 20 , GBP eg tract 390 B (391659) have even purchased some ex 88E leases eg. tract 385B (393116).
Nothing it seems is as it looks at times :-)

12:21 I would point you towards the DOG Lessee Map for North Slope but since last publication July, 2020 lots of things have happened , PMO transferring w.i. back to AEA & Bex, plus lots of leases given up by AEA/Bex and GBP so we await next update, even that will not include recently awarded leases so have to manually crank up picture.

For those that wonder 3D shooting is very very expensive, the old GBP's arrival on the slope 2-3 years earlier than us meant they took advantage of tax credits system to do extensive 3D and Lidar, that becomes public between 2022& 2027 , ultimately that expenditure and the lack of SOA reimbursement ($120M) killed the old GBP.
