Previously one of our "experts" who claimed trading system / city knowledge advised these small trades can be brokers tidying books, whether a fact it seems a possible.
The other factor are the "nil commission" operations that have become increasingly common it seems, as you get owt for nout may be other ways these operations get their profits, either by increased spreads or increased illiquidity so it will pay to understand the "deal" :-)
