It's April and its been a while since we heard any update on the 3B/4B farm out.

A large number of large players have been in the dataroom. Granted these transactions take time, but I would have expected a leak by now. Woodside, ENI, Chevron and TotalEnergies all have been very engaged.

I expect a transaction in Q2.

Huge potential here; patience will be rewarded.

Sometimes you just have to trust and believe.

This well is getting more and more positive.

The sidetrack is now out of the bag. I believe it has been logged.

Lets wait for the official news, chances of a buy in tomorrow are getting less before official news.

Not a done deal, but an imminent RNS fills me with anticipation .....

I expect the RNS later this week.

I expect to see photographic evidence of the smiling faces of oil and gas company executives aboard the rig.

I have a view that we will not get a RNS on Monday as operations are still ongoing.

I have taken my position on this well. Hydrocarbons are present in the main wellborn and sidetrack; how much and how much liquids remains the key. The Zulu warriors have it right about the drum beats of oil but few know the details !!!

Massive upside but its not for orphans and pension funds.

The devil is in the details on this drill. Hydrocarbons confirmed in all prospects but "how much and how much is liquid".

I remain aware of the risks but the buys are starting to tell the story.

Eco have done a good job with keeping the hole tight ....or have they ?

Oil shows on the way down and information from the lanky, welsh driller are all very positive; however, not unexpected. There has been oil to surface on the prospect before. The real information comes from the wireline logging; again, let's assume this is positive. again, not unexpected. We sidetrack and this is the key. this is why, we see very positive sentiment but not the sp movement heading well north right now.

This drill is a very interesting one - yes, there are hydrocarbons. How much and how much liquid is the question. The answer to that question will be publicly known next week.

Yes, buy the champagne, yes, put it on ice but leave the uncorking until next week.

I thought the answer would be found in Mavericks but I was wrong ..... the answer is known in Edgemead.

Drilling of the Gazania-1 well is well understood from the A-J 1 discovery well which encountered sandstones with fair reservoir quality and porosities between 10-15%. We are now well into this drill. The timing itself is starting to tell the story. A full set of logs are planned on a success case - resistivity, density neutron, sonic, diameter and formation tester. The sidetrack needs a cement plug to be set and a whipstock installed. The sidetrack will also have a full suite of logs run.

Upside potential to the Gazania prospect is the Namaqualand prospect.

Eco are playing their cards close to their chest. I suspect we will not get a RNS for a while yet ……which tells you the story, or at least a part of it.

Well .... here we go ..... off to the races ! Gazania is certainly a high impact well for Eco ! Yes, there has been a discovery on the prospect before and oil flowed to surface .... however, this is far from a done deal and significant geological risk remains.

Personally, I very much like the prospect and the size of the discovery and whether the fluids discovered are hydrocarbon or water are the main risks for me.

40p on spud ....... don't really care. I'll hold for the result - this is going to be high 20's or 75p plus after the news is official.

As ever, news will leak, especially in a country like South Africa. Best sources of news are in Mavericks !

Who would have believed twelve months ago that we would be focusing on Namibia rather than Guyana ?

The farm out is coming and Gazania has a high chance of success (although far from a done deal).

40p+ before spud is likely and then you take your choice to stick or go.

This remains the best multi-bagger play I am aware of. Risks, most definitely, but vast rewards are there for the brave.

Great to read the outcome of the arbitration and the share price increase.

It’s been a long ride since the days of Oil Brat, Clarkie, Borgo, Marlon Monkey et al.

I’m not invested as I see better returns elsewhere for now. Namibia is the hot spot with multiple drills upcoming.

This dog will have his day, although it will take time.

I am anticipating the Indian award in January.

The market is, as would be expected, not pricing a large percentage of the award into the share price right now.

The director deals are to protect their personal tax positions.

All going to plan in my opinion. Only thing is that it is slower than we would like or expect.

The share price will be north of 225p at the end of January.

News in December likely. Not a good outcome unfortunately.

Strike. 3 zones. Commercial and probably over 500 M bels recoverable.

It would seem that several arrivals have occurred.

Nothing’s a done deal until it’s done, but things are looking very positive.

There may well be short term gains here if OM comes in, but my indicators are that this bad boy is dead in the water.

The chat from Aces is of a very good first innings. The coke is flowing. The original plan remains to go down, down, deeper and down.

I would not expect any official news for a while but the word from Aces is to empty the bottom drawer and buy a few golden tickets.
