Well the AISC at Yanfolila was below $1300 in September so should be making some nice monies in Q4.

Are my calls wrong:?

Sorry I don’t usually invest in gold so I’m not fully up to speed.

But the risks have paid off?

US data - inflation down and spending down = rate cuts could = higher POG

Looking at yesterday’s trades it didn’t seem to shift the dial all that much, briefly touched on 12p then back up. Might be the reason for the stalled rise, could have been worked in over multiple trades? Hopefully it starts moving again now that’s cleared.

When ‘Dugby’ is referenced does that include Tuzon?

Our partner doesn’t have any other assets and only enough cash for some basic exploration which indicates to be that Hum are looking to progress it to a saleable point. I think the focus will be on expanding resources at all projects with minimal capital expenditure until the debt is paid down. Sale of Dugbe would be good for us but I think it will tick along for the time being.

How is this still worth £67m?

Thanks anon, I didn’t go back far enough and had assumed the higher costs were a natural result of bringing another mine online. Also a fair amount of the debt was to plug holes in the finances at the time rather than did capital costs. Looks like solid action taken to rectify and yes seemingly out of the woods now. What’s the general view on Dugby? Looks like a monster.

POG doesn’t seem to have been hit by the upwards revision if US GDP. Seems to be gathering a bit more momentum for another push upwards with US rate cuts now much more likely next year and earlier than expected.

It’s not going to move with the fundamentals until the large seller has gone. I believe someone had dropped around 3-5% in the last week so could be another 1-2% to go depending on who it is. The TR1 rules are a bit lax so might take a while to come through.

Just doing a quick comparison against Pan African (mcap £350m?) which I’m sure has been done many times before. Once we are at full production we will be slightly ahead of them in gold output (as they stand now) and costs per oz should be similar. The only difference being the debt (£130m vs £18m) which we will pay down over 2024/25. I don’t see why we wouldn’t move fairly quickly to a valuation of £300m+ as 2024 progresses and the revenue starts getting reported. Certainly if gold stays above 2000 once Kouroussa is at full production the under valuation will become clear.

I Invested because it seems the market hasn’t factored in Kouroussa yet. 100k oz per year at costs of 1k oz. Must be worth over £300m alone. With the current gold price it’s just printing money. Pay down debt much faster. Dugby update due soon? It’s colossal!

I feel like it’s better to wait for the H2 results which we know will show declines and then get in.

Canmax will expect Prem to stick to the terms of the agreement, I’m sure Prem will expect the same and do so. Issue of shares to make up the missing product in a monthly basis.

Last year there was a pre close H2 trading statement on 22 Dec. Expecting the same again?
