Brickability’s shift is being driven by tighter UK building safety rules—especially the Building Safety Act, stricter BSR gateway approvals, and legally mandated cladding and fire remediation—which are forcing upgrades across existing buildings and creating sustained demand for higher-margin contracting work. Against this backdrop, its an extra £200m+ pipeline of regulation-led revenue stream that is less cyclical than traditional brick supply, so its protected from the upcoming downturn. I believe that details on the pipeline of contracts will have been shared with the bidders though I expect they already knew that they exist, its just the market pricing that is well behind the curve on this one.
