I think many people have a quick scan of RNS's, form an opinion and do not actually get the chance to carefully read and digest the information. I would suggest that you take time out to do that if you have not. There are a lot of excellent positives in this morning's announcement and I am very happy that I picked up another £5K's worth this morning at 844p.

I'm not looking for a quick buck on this, preferring to take a longer term view. Covid has been kind to Novacyt (not forgetting that this has been a nasty pandemic that has killed a lot of people) but I can see the future as the primary diagnostic choice for many, many diseases for years to come. It's the razor model folks. Once you have the machine, you are going to use it for multiple applications in the future.

You can't read anything into the share price on opening. Give it a couple of hours to see the true sentiment. It's a great RNS, it has been great Director buy, loads of recruitment and the news over the weekend shows more and more testing required.

I think (for what it's worth as I have very little experience compared to yourself) that it's general sector sentiment at the moment. Could believe what has been happening at Novacyt over the past couple of days and just decided to buy more there and a few more here. I agree about the 10,000 share nonsense but at the end of the day, what has changed? The answer is nothing, so if you believe in the various opportunities that VAL and Suzy have, no reason to do other than not worry about looking for a few days/weeks.

If Grace and Adam were concerned then I would worry! But they appear to be very comfortable with the potential. GLA

Just sold my ODX and put the money into Novacyt. Makes it my biggest holding now.

Lost a couple of K's on the ODX but up overall as top sliced a couple of times, Come on GM, make me my £2K back please!

that is the rubbish this morning about how GM acquired/ was allocated/bought the shares.
He converted cash into shares. It does not matter where the cash came from, the point is he chose to put it into Novacyt shares rather than his bank. What's the issue?
