Hi Wilson63. The last time I looked I was a 'he'.
And I can assure you, I'm extremely shallow and have what Lady Brentw1 refers to as a weird sense of humour. I also am far more interested in the progress of the contents of my cellar than I am in some of the shares in my portfolio at times and post far more on The Wine Society's board than I do on here (where I have the same user name because I am lazy). I do have a fair old wedge in Novacyt so do like to drop in reasonably frequently (although I do butt out and turn it all off when the silliness and the panic sets in). Incidently, I am less concerned about the future of this share than the whole of the rest of my portfolio added together and have put an additional £20K in over the past four trading days.
I'm very happy to help out new investors and people who ask sensible questions (I can't remember the number of times I have patiently explained why you can't rely on the buy and sell indications on LSE). What drives me mad and makes me very sarcastic at times is complete idiots that should not be allowed on a betting shop, let alone on the stock market. I respect ShaunP's opinion on here more than any other poster, but I would point out (only in my opinion of course) that there are several LTH's who also support the great work that he does.
So there you have it. I'm just an ordinary bloke with a passion for fine wine, a wicked sense of humour and at my age I am getting more and more intolerant of buffoons. I also have a sign that Lady Brentw1 hangs round my neck when she takes me out occasionally. It reads "Old and in the way". GLA
