Yes Shuggy, good news in my opinion. Resources if required to take good things forward if needed but leverage in Eli negotiations I suspect is the main aim. I even wonder if an offer has been made to Vlad but he thinks it is well short of the potential. You need to do some serious convincing to get a 60 mil facility and 'Eli want it' is a pretty good start. All in my opinion of course but I think I'm joining up the dots correctly. Loads of other very, very positive stuff in that RNS when you read it carefully as well.

I think this Loan facility is all to do with the negotiations taking place at the moment. In other words, don't bully us into selling cheap because we have our own resources. Thoughts folks?

Buys showing as sells. I think people don't understand how the trading system works. all platforms like LSE have no idea whether the transaction is a but or a sell. All they simply6 know is that a trade took place for a certain number of shares at a particular time and how much each share was bought/sold for. The software then uses a simple algorithm to check if the price was closer to the ask price or the bid price to mark the transaction as a buy or a sell. Occasionally the transaction shows as unknown and is greyed out (on LSE). Thus is where the price is exactly half-way between the ask and the bid so the software defaults to unknown. The reason for frequent 'errors' is when the spread moves around. Hope this makes sense!

Maybe there is no mention of the care home contracts because (and I am involved in tenders professionally) you would be in serious trouble if you announced anything like that prior to the award of said contract. Not only with the awarding body but also with the stock market. The same goes for withholding price sensitive information if you knew you had not won it.

Thanks infor25, I'd missed that. Does not change my view that some big positions probably being built. In fact, explains why I could not get my head round why it had not already happened.

This am drop happened yesterday as well and I bought into it. No spare funds at the moment without selling things I want to keep (but I did consider it!). Reinforces my belief that despite being SETs now, someone is collecting and a big or more orders are being filled.

Given the opportunities that Novacyt has now with care homes and other settings, ongoing (non-covid related) testing using the in place 16's and 32's and the fact that vaccine news (in my opinion) does not in any way negate the need for testing, would it not be on the radar for the bigger players? I'm getting happier by the week!
