Little bit of a dip so suspect traders having their few percent. Personally don't like seeing the price going up without the occasional dip to steady the ship. Steady sustainable progress is what I would like to see (but I suspect it will go stupid on any major news).

And too be honest, this in my opinion (such as it is) is a simple bounce-back from a ridiculous drop with the vaccine news plus the II's in the know having a field day taking positions. Blackrock must know something is about to drop re the US to have put £12m in (at least). I'm not so sure that they have to announce any further increase in their holdings by way of a TR1 with the dual listing. Maybe more informed posters can shed some light on that. Anyway, I reckon their interest is sales in their home market as well as the various tenders etc.

Just had a look at the order book (such as it is) on the live.euronext site and it looks encouraging. Asks outnumbering bids nicely so pressure is upwards. The French sentiment is so important with 70% of the shares on the Bourse. If this continues then we should have a lovely day (and I'm not SH3 in disguise folks!).

I can see that happening quite quickly Porky. I'm a pretty LTH but my overall average went up a pile when I bought substantially again at between 700 and 850. I'm almost treating it as two separate investments. The only **** up is that my holding at an average of 220 is in my normal trading account and the holding averaging 775 is in the ISA's. Doh!

Yes, even though he clogs up the board with a consistent 67 rmp (ramblings per minute), I do miss the priceless comments that we used to get.

"When we get an RNS we will have an RNS"

Totally agree with that sentiment Porky.
Some of the other boards make me laugh, some make me angry and some make me wince. I think one of the issues is that normal sane people can get very frustrated with some of the comments (whether aggressive, uninformed, with an ulterior motive or just wrong, that they can reply without counting to ten. I have been guilty of that myself.

Anyway, GLA and lets keep the reputation of being the most helpful and informed board on LSE.

Woodie, why don't you do something useful instead of bothering busy people who are not allowed to give out information of that nature. Appreciate you are trying to help but its a waste of everyone's time.

I agree Porky. The share price last night was odd and not reflected in the French Bourse closing price. Maybe something to do with an uncrossing trade? We had some unusual share price behaviour yesterday and we seem to be back to that tight band this morning between 758 and about 763. Definitely shorts closing or position building or maybe both.

One of the rookie mistakes in business is to try to be all things to all people. Although they have been recruiting, do we really want them to divert attention away from providing solutions to Easyjet, Amazon, Tesco, Boots and the likes of Taylor Wimpey etc. to mess about with direct sales to a limited market? Just my opinion.

Looking back through Stach's posts I've reached two conclusions.

He gets really upset if he gets called Stacey.

He doesn't have much positive to say about VAL and constantly brags about his medical knowledge.

I don't think I'd invite him to a Dinner Party.
