I read , probably from one the newspapers that you quote , that they told TLOU they were only interested in bidding for TLOU's tender iff (if and only if in maths) TLOU gave them firm order that made it worth their while. I have been quoting that for many years and is fact. I like tobe able to show evodence and and have looked for whatever I read but I have changed computers several times since those days.

When i show ,y frequent trader trades I do it before they appear in the LSE trades section so anyone can see I am not making it up! Honesty is important to me - it was the cardinal sin when I was growing up. My Dad could forgive most things but lies was not one of them!

Pump and Dump is rubbish! The case for TLOU as a lone bidder was very good , TG had made 1Bn and 3.5bn from his first two CBM projects, and the risks looked negligible! Loads of gas, loads of demand , a proven Leader and no opposition!

But the Govt put the mockers on all of that by entertaining Sekanames' demands in their desire to have competition. BIG BIG MISTAKE , they presumably thought TG would have them over a barrel and could dictate the prices profits etc etc.

Tony had already said there was plenty of scope between the 10-12AUD prices in Oz , and the 30 dollars Botswana were paying Eskom for S.A. imports for both parties to prosper!!!

I have little doubt we'd have delivered gas or electricity with 5 years if they'd trusted him!

Instead we lost 2 years and all momentum because the tender documents for us and Seka were flawed and the whole process went back to square 1 with mistrust between all 3 parties.

Eventually we were back on course , and Covid struck! In that irritating period , TLOU upgraded the mission to providing turn key electricity in Serowe , the scale rose miles from filling calor gas containers and shipping them on lorries and trolls started appearing on here and ADVFN because , no doubt , they got in at the peak price before BPC pandered to Seka's demand for a huge PPA that TG did not want , preferring to start at 2MW before expanding production for 4 decades or more. The main troll expected Seka to overtake TLOU due to the economy of scale for 97MW , and TG's pedestrian ideas for a couple of MW.

He still thinks he was right I suppose , the Civil war will resurrect Sekaname's ambitions now they have sold their drilling gear? Miracles happen in his tiny mind.

I am unclear how the ASX depositary will work.

It looks like a proxy type of account in which shares from TLOU to TOU will be swapped.

Is it a nominee account governed by TLOU or an Australian finance authority OR is it flexible so shareholderscan manage them himself. And will movements be subject to stamp duty and/or commission or other taxes. Millions of shares are involved , potentially pricey?

C'mon guys if they were a MAJOR problem do you seriously think TG would spend his budget on substations and transmission lines! They do have to solve the finings issue which is also hindering the dewatering process that is causing the finings problem in the first place. Catch 22!

That has made an impact which imho is clearly the go live capacity!! I suspect TLOU were planning to go live with 2 or 3MW originally but have settled on less than 2MW.

Once we have even 0.5MW in place , every cu ft of gas we release thereon will be productive i.e. bringing in money!!! That will justify the outlay on further wells that were always planned from day 1. Funding expenditure that will increase income will be easier than funding work that feeds a pipe dream.

That income also justifies the outlay on poles and wires which make this possible!

We don't know much about Donkey , but off the hoof his CV is going to be lousy compared tho this!

TG told us yonks ago that they could not pump water too fast because strong channels of water could pick up too many finings and increase the risk of a blockage. During Covid they turned the flows down (#4) or off (#3) . Covid did not bother other businesses according to our resident ass? Of course it did!

You give nothing away about your personal life so your credibility cannot be judged at all.

e.g. TG has brought home the bacon in two previous projects involving CBM - for 99% of our brains a good thing, or better than good, but for you that was a catalyst to convince you he must be due to have a major failure? For no good reason imho!

Twice I have doubted TG and twice I realised with a matter of hours or days that I had misjudged him. My mistake! I am certain TG was aware of the carp being raised on these pages. Whether he read the pages himself or got a summary of shareholders views from subordinates , I dunno, but he has acted a few times on ideas that were mentioned in these pages.

After years of unfair criticism he is washing his hands of those British clowns whilst protecting at our investments in his project which, imho, it is beyond the point of no return.

I don't see any technicality standing in the way - installing the switching gear to the TX lines and installing generators is run of the mill work. The paperwork is complete - the trickiest part for sure - and gas will flow because it is already and further wells will dewater Lesedi more efficiently and reduce the washing of finings down channels as water flow slows spread across a larger area, and the problem disappears. Without lockdown and measures to protect the budgets dewatering would have been complete I reckon.

Kemi Badenoch being appointed makes up for Masisi being dethroned. His English was pretty good by African standards - the main reason I wanted him to win - I struggle to hear the words with most of them. Was Lefoko re-elected - I cannot find the individual results?

He may be more effective in opposition than he was sitting next to a president whom he could not offend without risking his career?

TG tells us in every RNS that all the paperwork with the govt is up to date - so wtf are you talking about? Govt have been waiting for results from TLOU since Eric's days as Minister of Energy. Lefoko was confident they would be positive - Eric needed more evidence - Masisi was presumably somewhere in the middle?

If the new President is going to take6 months to settle in his new role - he'll hopefully KNOW THE RESULT as Serowe will be delivering the power to customers in Botswana.

The new guy has a short wait if TG has called it right. The Doc is prepared to find some funding (5m?) so his opinion of TG words mean more to me than some idiot who i not prepared to say if he has been to Botswana or not. Cannot believe a word he says imho.

Utopia in other words - no govt interference and in 6 months we'll want someone to sign the cheques (or deliver the camels or elephants). Every cloud has a silver lining?

IG, who say you can fund accounts with Paypal , seem to have ceased trading withthem.

They had my card details so it was a simple transaction but the minium deposit was down from £250 to £50!! Got 43k odd for my £300 on the one transaction because frequent trader is biting the dust for me.

Waiting for ASX to open to prove it but I think QUOTE is unavailable in OZ.

Another downside.

I am an old hand at buying and selling on IG, who are brilliant.

I used to use TDW (TD Waterhouse) who were even better.

With TDW you did not need to have the funds in place at the time of the trade - their honour system was you'd have the cash in place by the settlement date. The default was 3 days, now a default of 2 days is the norm.

They closed a while ago and I moved to IG!

IG need the funds to be in place at the time you want to trade. 1p too little and they'll decine you buy. If you sell, to raise the cash, they honour those proceeds immediately (the settlement dates are the same for that sell and your new bid).

IG allow paypal payments (minimum of £250) , debit card payments (£250 min again) and bank transfers (no minimum , I have transferred 1p before.

You can pay in GBP only , but you can do your own FX trade to AUD and their rates are not bad at all. You do not have too - you can buy using GBP or AUD and they will do the FX trade to accommodate it for you! Doing that was why I needed to bank transfer a few coppers! They accepted my bid in GBP and the FX rate shifted a tiny fraction so I was short . My experience has been super , they do not bother to tell to you are short and have never applied a penalty charge afaicr. You can buy using quote or limit bid! I prefer the quote system. You can say what you want to spend in either GBP or AUD but must have the funds in place or pending a settlement. They return how many shares they can offer add what the total cost is!!!

It is normally too high a cost and you end up with fewer shares and a cash balance if you accept!

I calculate how many shares my balance less commission will will buy and bid for the next number up rather than using price. They will approve or deny it , and you can amend the count down 1 share and it will usually have a good chance of success - you then have a countdown to accept , time-out or rebid with the same or different levels.

I'll be topping up my frequent trader tomorrow so 3 trades at £3 on Aim for December! My last one I guess because frequent trader is only applicable to LSE trades! AUD is 10% of the value as commission with a minimum charge of 10AUD usually £5 to £5.50 (FX varies).

Since Covid I only buy TLOU shares so never look at my brokers pages.

IG always had a much better platform in the good old days and I have used that one in preference to new one which, no doubt, is designed around phones rather than PC's.

I am maybe not as senile as I assumed. I have just gotten around to looking at my IG accounts and realised where the confusion arose!

I expect BTS is looking at those levels an ASX because we were trading at similar dayes on the calendar. The taxi driver who used to pass his red hot penny shares bumf to me , had a tax bill after his divorce and he was gutted at having to sell at about 5p - the jammy devil was so lucky with hindsight, and the envy between us was reversed quite quickly! Not that I wanted a divorce!

My average shows I have indeed used the ISA to buy ASX shares (AU) Tou ( 3.7c or 1.889p equiv) equivalent whereas my earlier Share deals were 68c or 3.47p

This revelation does not clarify capital gains tax for Brits - but at least I have not mislead anyone who opened an IG account. Unlike Donkey , I would be so upset if I did that!

I think there is a small chance that AIM/LSE/TLOU could reach 2.23p (break even for UK ISA) if the substations are completed before the delisting! It is quite relaxing that TLOU have committed to the swaps into the New year if necessary! Once we deliver even 0.5MW to Serowe I anticipate huge price rises at both ends of the world. People will get them where they can I suspect at that point. New and Old money alike!

Guys I have nominee accounts and Isa accounts with two brokers (IG and X-O).

X-O are very explicit and only UK stocks and cash are allowed in their ISA.

And they don't support trading on ASX anyway so it is very clear.

I had shares in CBA (Commonwealth Bank of Australia) for a while in my nominee account and received dividends in my nominee account as AUD. The price of CBA was over 100AUD so the dividend only bought a handful of shares. So I used AUD to buy cheap TOU shares with the dividends. Thos purchases plus the odd ASX placements accrued around 400k shares.

My memory is that the Sydney branch of IG credited both my accounts with options to buy placement shares in both my AUD accounts! That meant I was buying into both accounts , supported by my belief that the nominee account was from CBA dividends, and placings with GBP and/or AUD cash. I sold my CBA holding to fund a placing I think! For the life of me I cannot recall whether CBA were in my nominee or ISA, and why the the dividend ended up in my non-ISA. Was that my fault, or was it IG or ASX rules that governed where dividends were paid? I'll check my account histories because I am certain I merged my allocations on one placing so my ISA+nominee allocations went into the same account . My ISA would be logical but currently I have no TOU in my ISA so I am confused. I have changed computer a few times so lord knows where my ACCESS files are. Hopefully IG goes back far enough without them.

I was talking rubbish when I said IG allow ASX shares to be held in an ISA.

ISA accounts are only valid for our GBP currency and shares - so moving our AIM shares to the ASX depositary or to an IG share dealing account (which is a nominee account , and not an ISA) loses the tax benefits an ISA provides. I have over 400k ASX TOU shares in my share dealing account and on LSE shares in my ISA.

This will not bother those of you who don't expect to see your stakes back , but it peeves me because I was hoping to buy a hydrogen powered motorbike with my profits. That dream died a few years ago really , but all these years putting money into shares ISA has been a total waste of money!!! Bless the missus cause her silly cash ISA is lookig very good compared to my shares ISAS. I should have learned to keep the house and garden tidy and cook and given her the finances to manage?

As for my boys they could inherit a tax liability - but at least you have to make a profit to be taxed. If ASX goes up 10 or 20 fold by the time our UK shares are swapped on to ASX - not only could we lose the ISA protection - we might be making capital gains on the transfer of millions of UK shares? Fingers crossed the OBR does not mention that to the Chancellor! She seems to action anything they say until she finds out how to do her job.

If anyone hascan accountant perhaps they could ask if selling ISA shares tax free is safer than swapping shares out of an ISA and into AUD? Sounds like one for TB?

I have received the expected reply from Jarvis/X-O - they can only hold shares in CREST so my days of buying TLOU through them look to be over. As expected tbh.

They will be writing to shareholders once they know more.

Nobody has giving their view on bullet point 2 which, imho, definitely commits TLOU to honouring a one for one swap of one TOU share into the ASX depositary for every AIM TLOU share.

The price is immaterial if that is the only option for the AIM share. Graham, if I was you I'd buy back into AIM and double your shares. ASX has halved too - so there are Aussies who have sold @ 3.6c to buy back at 1.8c - or Brits who sold @ 3.6c and bought back on ASX at around 0.7p

The sophisticated UK shareholders may have been responsible for those 1m share buys we saw a few days ago. Not insider dealing or they'd have waited for the 0.6p or 0.7p prices.

If I was TG I might have dumped AIM a few years ago so it all fits with my ideas of TLOU's progress. Colm and GG and TG all get a bad press on here - not a good word for anything they do. Generators are odered, TX lines were 75% complete a month ago - #6 and #4 are flowing so proof of concept i.e. the Selemo experience is going to be replicated soon - byt instead of using the power onsite it is destined for Serowe National Grid!!!

We are weeks or a few months from going live with our first delivery. Why is there doom and gloom on here? It is all going to plan.

They gave away Selemo 2 months before it dewatered and are now giving away drilling equipment that will be in 100% focus for TLOU in just few weeks time. With all the carp that has been thrown at TLOU managementfor years on end here, it has been obvious for a long time St. Tony gave up telling us anything. Good news or bad he was criticised!

And if there was a continental price rise the other continent tended to reverse the direction!

He is better off without the UK cynics selling up and getting out if that leaves the DTE, TB, PI, BTS and others who have tried to support him throughout in place with ASX TOU shares.

Both sets of shareholders on the different exchanges include many people like us who have invested more than they can afford to lose. And removing the see saw from the TLOU pricing at the most exciting 12 month stage so far, is actually great for the likes of you and me.

If he had not used AIM we would never have hear of Tony far less invested in him.

The Aussies back him far more that the Brits do but raising placement money is not easy on either exchange. We have been replaced by Doc and whatever his motives are it is certain he sees Tlou coming to fruition!!!! MM (Major Miner) and Donkey have expressed concern that he might be a wolf in sheep's clothing but TG points out in today's RNS that the Doc is the THIRD LARGEST SHAREHOLDER IN TLOU. So DOC would need TG to abandon us completely , against everything he gas done for us imho, or for the Pension Fund to stick it's finger up to the Govt.

Neither is going to happen - and those 3 will have riches enough as soon as TLOU reaches double figures!!! Once we have 1MW power charging up the wires to the national Grid or Sapp 11p will be reached with ease imho. Without AIM dragging the price backwards the only way is up! BE HAPPY you £53k will be AUD 200k - double - and you don't have to do a thing when I am proved right!! TG is on the hat-trick and always has been due to his own judgement of the markets etc etc. Masisis will be re-elected before all this happens I hope.

TG seems to think providing 1MW will be proof of concept and maybe the Govt have told him just that. Once gas is producing electricity at Serowe, with trillions of cu ft of gas simply waiting for us to release it the incentive to fund Engelbert Humperdink will be enormous from all sides!!!! Will a major energy supplier want to buy us up? This time next year we will know I expect.
