Did the Green poster deny my Kenmare v Tlou theory?

He is back on filter until he has a personality swap as GtP on Hot Copper.

When he said TLOU could be on the verge of a calamitous crash - I think he was considering how TLOU would lose all his potential Kenmare holdings for him. He got out of KMR too early - perhaps he's out of TLOU too.

GtP reminds me of a story I heard at Pilkington Glass when I was there on business. A salesman had visited France for a presentation and wanted to impress them! They were called GPT , and, whenever he mentioned them, he used the French pronunciation jay pay tay!

He went to lunch with a manager and asked him why the audience would smile every time he said jay pay tay?

Great post from the guy who thinks an MCAP of AUD 20m across 1.26Bn shares made TLOU a major player on AIM? Donkey was known as Kenner before he was barred on LSE. Kenner from Kenmare - his favourite share until the split their shares 1:200 around 2015.

I suspect Kenner sold KMR around time and spent his KMR funds on new boy on the block , TLOU at it's peak price somewhere north of 10p - maybe even 17p the highest to date.

Kenmare never looked back - they introduced DIVIDENDS soon after and the share has doubled since the split.

Yield is currently 10% and TLOU are yet to receive any income in that period. I am happy TG kept us alive and so are shareholders who have stuck with him. Kenner on the other hand sees TLOU is worth a tiny fraction of what his KMR would have been worth - a bitter pill to swallow.

The irony is that he has done his best to drag TLOU down forever and a day. TLOU looked set at 5p at the time of the options issue (4.4p for 2 years) and without Covid lockdowns that 5p may have doubled in 2 years.

I blame Donkey and Covid , Donkey blames TG for a world pandemic , how stupid can he be?

These boards are a first port of call for potential investors - contrary to public belief I am certain they contribute massively for new investors. Donkey believes that too - hence his unyielding , unfair , criticism of TLOU. I hope TG is not suffering long-Covid , or anything else for that matter. His project does not need much to meet his ambitions just a decision on what generators we need!

If we throw our gas at Kala , we don't need as many generators for the PPA and BPC. And there is a balancing act on what sizes and numbers are required. SM and Kala have delayed the PPA mission for sure. I pray that Kala are more sincere than SM were. The mutual benefits look too good to be true but make perfect sense.

He has an account on Hot Copper for sure - he is unique so if it sounds like a donkey , smells like a donkey , and criticises the TLOU board - it will be the muppet.

How on earth he thinks TLOU would be a "one of the biggest disaster investments in the history of AIM" shows how little he knows about AIM.

Speaking from personal experience TLOU is tiny compared to my short list of companies.

AVN were £7 per share - they were sending satellites into orbit for broadband bounces back to earth in inhospitable regions for broadband. They used Ariane for the launch so no skimping there - the satellite was positioned so efficiently / perfectly that it saved so much fuel it extended the life of the satellite by 7 years!!

The share price was strongly tipped to reach £9 in days! Unfortunately the CEO , a Welshman , who should have targeted dark places in GB - you could put a receiver in your garden - but the prat opted for Africa (Middle-East and Europe were also covered) and expected local companies to set up franchises? It never happened of course! Then he sold a bucket-full of shares and instead of reaching £9 the price halved to £3.50 and then slipped to £2.20 before dropping even lower and going bust!!!

And SXX, Sirius with 10Bn shares dwarfed TLOU as well.

As for Botswana going bust - there is obvious scope for it becoming a central hub for AI (expected Winni to be referring to AI via (chat)GPT (with a typo). Silicon Valley in Botswana will cost a hell of lot less than it would in California - if diamonds are as weak as we are lead to believe - Kala could replace Orapa as the leading industry. Their presence could attract future AI companies to Botswana - maybe they will need a 2nd Las Vegas one of these decades? F1 track near Lesedi airport might be on the cards in a few generations.

Cheers Winni , It is a pity that posters on here are few a far between - if we'd known brokers were busy upholding the plan put out by Tlou , we'd have known not to accept IG's views. But it is too late - it is history now.

I decided that £500 now will buy me shares at less than 2c so roughly 50k shares - and I am not confident the Ombudsman will award me anything like the £5k I reckon I lost. If I got £2k in a years time , and the price is 8c by then, it won't be worth the aggro. So I have accepted the £500 while I am still alive. My hope is that 20c per share is coming and that £500 will be worth 10 monkeys anyway. 11p for the Pension Fund refund has always been a goal for me and 17p to follow - our highest price ever?

I think IG must have introduced interest on cash balances from April 1st or April 6th (Tax year) because I deposited £165 late in April I recived £1.60 interest for April. For May , I only got 60p on my £166.60?

I lost 800k shares waiting for the settlement period from sell on non-ISA to buy on ISA - £1.60 must have resulted from large balances from those trades over a day or two. Easter holidays may have played a part too.

I have been offered a monkey (how appropriate is that after all my problems) as a goodwill gesture and admittance that they fell short on replying to my many queries, as events changed.

The biggest of those was the fact that O sold and bought back millions of shares because I was lead to believe they would never be rescued from my NON-ISA account otherwise. And once I had got them into my ISA they reneged on that and moved other's shares back into their ISA's .

I have 6 months to involve the Omsbudman or accept the monkey. Do I bill them for a monkey enclosure , because I gained 200k shares and lost 800k so 600k shares down. Over 10 monkeys for sure! Big enclosure!

I'll see what they say about that before I decide what route to take.

Won £28 overall with Binita being 3rd - so just scraped through like I did in the Eurovision.

The P.O. lost it with a poor song, and I think Binita's set in the 5th Semi-final content was so much better - with a platform at the top of the steps - where she did her best amazing moves and the camera caught much better close ups in three locations (top platform, foot of steps, and the area close to the panel, rather than one!

Tonight the camera work and the set let her down badly imho - short changed!

My £3 @ 27 was not taken so it has been there for days and everyine ignored it!

I put £1 at 25 , now down to 16 , so a good sign. And my original £10 @ 5 was ok from the start and is not down to 4. I also put £10 on the P.O. at 2.54 so if either wins I gain £14 , and £40 for Binita being in the first 3.

Makes the programme more interesting £54 against a stake of £21, less than a quarter of my Eurovision winnings, where I was lucky on Armenia and San Marino scraping through to the final. Might try GOLF if I can find coverage on the TV. I used to back Miguel Jimenez at ridiculous odds 750 was typical , expecting him to make the cut , and drop to 200 or so , and I'd lay him to lose the competition to ensure a profit. I used to be able to bet in pennies when the minimum bet was £2. Then they changed the protocols and £2 was too much for me. £2 was plenty enough to buy a pint in a pub during those days. Something else I have cut out since Liz passed. I grew up with a father who gambled on horses and I vowed I'd never be a serious gambler. And then Stocks and Shares came along! A taxi driver used to give me his Penny Shares releases from Tom Bulford and with interest rates dropping like a stone I thought I could better myself. HMV were paying 16% dividends so I did well until their CEO lied about their trading figures and I believed him. The share price had dropped of course so it was wishful thinking on my part. And then I got into AIM and never looked forward again. Most fail but I thought I had a succession of companies that would buck the trend. TLOU have done well to have survived for so long imho. And , with no income , are in the strongest position since I got involved withthem. I hope Tony is well enough to see his efforts pay off.

OMG , I have just watched the Black-outs and BGT has definitely moved on since the days of Mary Hopkins and Susan Boyle. Good job only £3 was available @ 27/1 - but they are very sporting odds and Binita will give them a run for their money. The magician looked good too but I think his trick was simple thinking about it.

He had a lot of paper with allegedly unique writing on each! 99% unique but I'd bet the 1% was identical on every sheet! He split the sheets into 3 piles , and gave one to each judge! AT THAT POINT THEY WERE INVITED TO SHUFFLE THEIR SHEETS!!! Each judge had a different value in their 1% - the 1% contained a seat number so there were 3 seat numbers - everything from that point one was pre-ordained! The third judge's 1% contained Paris on every sheet. And the person in the pre-ordained seat and his/her partner were known!

He recorded himself in Paris early in the week which meant there was nothing random about the seat number on the night! A total giveaway!

I watched the last semi-final at the weekend, and fell in love with a 9yr Indian girl , Binita Chetry , who was totally adorable in every way. She did a cross between Gymnastics floor exercises, Dancing and being a Contortionist. I don't know if there is a triple-jointed body but her tiny body seemed to be able to bend in any direction.

She speaks incredibly well too and is extremely pretty - I thought odds-on to captivate a British audience in the final. But I had not seen the opposition! I took 27/1 on her winning , and 4/1 on her being in the first 3,

Just checked the current odds and they are now 21/1 on a win , but there is a betting market without the favourites , Hear Our Voice , a choir of a couple of dozen adults or more! Thought I'd take a look at them and, before they sang one note, I saw why they are favourites. They are all persons who worked for and were undone by the Post Office - massively close to most British hearts - enough to challenge Binita for certain. The public vote seems to determine the winner in the programme but the judges will surely be as supportive of the Postal workers anyway?

A very young sweetheart or victims of a huge national scandal - perhaps I'll look at the exclusive market - the victims look set to win I think.

Still waiting for IG to respond to my complaint - longest 8 weeks of my life! The still bar me from buying TLOU shares and I am waiting to see how much interest my £166 balance earns come payment day in early May.

I was informed that one of my current passwords was found in a list of stolen passwords so yesterday I investigated and found several cookies for IG! I removed them and set a new Password on the laptop. And then moved to the Iphone which was still using the old password of course. I hate Iphones with a vengeance but eventually got the OLD PASSWORD deleted (I think). Logging in is now a problem because if I load the login page and I am already logged in , instead of going into my account like it used to - it goes through the login procedure as if I were logged out. Laptop and Iphone use the same URL now but they do not synchronised on much. I am getting URLS to non-existent addresses - where they come from is anybody's guess - and my ISA value was fluctuating despite the lack of transactions. I think maybe the Iphone logs me into my account as if it is a CFD account and not a basic Share Dealing execution only account? And those mysterious cookies are used to log me in into my accounts. Cookies from IG existed for my Year of Birth, my email address , my IG username , and one that started with the letters LV (for Live?) - a real hotchpotch of carp???

Deleted them all !!!! Networking passwords between machines (synch process) is dodgy for sure.

How else did the phone get the old password? And then there is One Drive and the Cloud ....

Great link Winni - not seen it before - thought Kala were a private company with no shareholders (like Sekaname) but clearly thry are a full-blown business and that article was a joy to read!

It is possible that from 26th March there has been a change of heart , but it seems more likely that TG's personal problems have been the cause of the dormant period we are so aware of. For TG to give up his brainchild so far into it must have been hellish! But he should be proud of the way he has kept his word on keeping dilution to a minimum without begging for money from us every 10 minutes!

That policy might partially go out of the window if his successor wants to up the urgency to the levels most of you have demanded for years. Kala's presence on the terms they have agreed will circumvent TG's potential U-turns. Cheers Winni - the dream is still alive and hopefully Tony will be well enough to influence the board from the back benches.

I just hope that he has not been lead up the garden path by Kala.

Earlier I saw a one line quote that said effectivel Tlou are concentrating on producing power from gas!

I took it to mean the side-shows were over for the time-being at least. TLOU had not published the news on their web page at that time (6am) so it may have been there - cannot find it again.

It makes sense because we are so close to completing that plan. So close that maybe the Doc would be able to manage the final stages, with TG in the background.

Cannot stand the childishness of the programme, gave up watching years ago, but could not resist watching a very old episode that caught my eye on i-player last night. A youngish Clarkson and two other kids , each had £1500 to buy a two wheel drive vehicle in which they'd drive from the Zimbabwe border to the Tanzanian border across Botswana using roads and across country.

I expected to get an unbiased view of Botwana but the only town of any size we saw was Maun!

They arrived at a huge Salt lake , and the Vice President flew in on a motorised hang-glider to wih them well.

His name was not in the credits but he looked very much like Ian Kharma to me. It was not very educational and as childish as they get (maybe - more or less as stupid as my memories of Top Gear). All 3 cars got to the destination with a lot of help from the film crew and some resourceful Botswanans. The road near Francistown (saw a signpost to it) was pretty good , fewer potholes than our roads maybe, but we did not see many roads like that. The people seemed nice but very poor and in the villages there we so many very young kids examining the cars. A 230 Merc, a 44 yr old Opel Kadette, and a Lancia Beta?

Don't think I fancy a visit from what I saw but I guess they wanted to make it look as much of a challenge as possible. The one garage they visited looked good and sold the leaded fuel that they needed for their jalopies.

I assume that Kala produced at least one bit of kit , and TLOU piped in to some otherwise to be flared gas, and it was successful. There are a few statements around that can be interpreted as , deja vu , that the plan has switched to gas powered electricity instead. If so there is room for a delay in TLOU procurring the generator(s) for Kala's requirement - BUT THERE IS NO DOUBTING WE SIGNED UP TO SUPPLY THE GAS ON THE ORIGINAL PLAN. We are not far from Q3 (end of next month), 2025 is slipping away.
