As for Moagi , I admired the effort he put in to get TLOU as PPA for 10Mw during lockdown!

Little did he know that TG was not anxious to have a PPA in the first place, but I assume Moagi thought that the PPA would give us some security to use in the days when funding was virtually impossible? After all Sekaname and/or KE had insisted on a big enough PPA to make it worth while answering the RFP!!!

They needed 97Mw as a carrot to attract funding - the opposite approach to TLOU's M.O. completely!

Tony always wanted to keep production affordable until we were earning any sort of income. At that point was he planning to repeat his Arrow and Sunshine experiences or would he have de-risked TLOU so far that he could expect funding from either or both equity and debt with plenty of supporters across the globe.

TLOU and Lefoko are unlikely to be in each other's pockets. I am sure we have all bought cars from dealers who have done dodgy deals elsewhere at some time , but most of us did nothing fraudulent in our deal? Same with the Minister and TG I am sure!!! He is a saint ,after all , imho.

People retire due to personal ill-health, lottery wins, to complete buckets lists e.g. world cruises and to serve jail sentences etc etc etc! The fact is they have retired! What are you two twaddling on about?

I retired from my taxi driving because I had an aneurysm in the popliteal artery , lost blood supply in the lower left leg (femoral artery is still blocked 6 years later) so they bypassed the whole leg from the groin to just above the ankle with an inverted vein (making it an artery) to save my lower leg and foot. I could not use the left leg when driving cars or motor bikes with manual shifts! And could not walk far either. So i retired from taxi driving, and bought an automatic Berlingo that carries my mobility scooter , and I swapped my Triumph bike for an aprilia DCT (automatic). I do not need the scooter currently but I was lucky they saved my leg after the by-pass failed a few hours after the main operation. I returned to the ward at 3:30am and at 9am was back in theatre having been told if they could not repair their handiwork my leg would be amputated above the knee!

I was in the hands of the Vascular School of Excellence for the South of England - extremely lucky to have had a surgeon that I revere as much as TG!! He was on duty throughout or I might have had a parrot on my shoulder and a crutch!

I keep the scooter in case I need it in the future.

Tony has almost certainly worked whilst his personal reasons were active. The Kala deal he has agreed has left TLOU in a fantastic state. Funding is sorted if Kala live up to their expectations and why won't they?

We have our PPA as an independent income source , and interest free loans on the easiest terms I have ever heard of! Kala being repaid by withholding some of TLOU's share of Kala Data profits, and then getting all their 50% of the profits. Our money is invested in that deal ..... one day we will all realise what an amazing stroke of fortune we have been given and people are selling their shares for 0.6p??????

Gee, now I have stopped topping up TOU at 1.6c or 1.7c , my IG account has dropped £7k over a couple of days.

Current spread is now down to 1.1c - 1.5c i.e. during ASX hours valued at 1.1c!

At close the price will be the final trade price applied whether it is a buy or a sell. Last week it would be my buy of 1.6c or 1.7c , but I deal late at night (up to 3am) , and I ensure the deal goes through or cancel it. We now know that Winni usurps my trade with part fills if some lunatic accepts his pathetic bids. I received 248 shares for my 10 AUD commission once , on a part-fill , so terrible value for me? Maybe Winni bought those 248?

TLOU is totally de-risked and the last 6 months trade prices have been a bargain! My 2.7m are worth less than a one year ISA allowance - considering that in those 6 months I was struggling to move my ASX issue across to my ISA, a big drop. I was panicking that the price would pick up before I got my shares into the ISA - and capital gains would be a worry?

Kala are literally too good to be true - good enough that TG was able to retire imho and leave his company in a wonderful position. Time to buy @ 1.5c - the Aussies are going to wake up one of these days! Though they do not have the incentive of an ISA like we Brits?

Winni, I am just short of 2.7m currently , so I am 400k down and have invested over £1k to get to that figure.

Why anyone thinks TLOU is worth less now than it was last year at 3.4c baffles me. It should be doubled not halved imho. I paid 1.7c so people would realise 1.5c is no longer the target , and never should have been.

But it looks like there is only two of us on the planet buying TOU shares 😮

I am pleased this phase is over, it is really hard work trying to get the optimal number of shares.

With base currency GBP the fx rate is at play 100% to AUD.

I get a ball park figure but dummy buy of GBP value.

Then I adjust their number of shares until the funds are enough to buy them.

IG are such cretins that even 1p over will be rejected!!!! In practice , there will be quite a bit of unused money , 40p and upwards - useless money because minimum trade for GBP is £90! I want the shares it should have bought!

Last night 36674 shares was a few pence over £305.40 so I reduced the number all the way down to 36627 which was still rejected!!! At that point I switched my limit to 1.6c - cost £282+ - and then switched back to 1.7p and saw the estimate rise to £305.43p .

I continued that until £305.35p was the estimate , and hit the tit (which is recorded ).

So I was left with an unused 5p - still a few shares missed on top of the aggro. The 366 to 367 typo did not help but my eyes were tired after watching Man City until half time.

You are the culprit then Winni. I am trying to boost the price and you are ensuring I don't.

They say it is a small world. I thought it was a malicious toad deliberately keeping the price down but I got that wrong. The other tack I had available was to stick in a huge order that would clear the minnows out so the price would be left up to people who want to hang on to their shares, and will want higher prices to part with them. I have deliberately paid more than I needed to , so I am glad I never opened my savings accounts to do the big buy. IG are not playing very fair - why did they use 1.7c of my 1.7c limit bid - they do not gain afaics - or are they really buying at 1.4c and giving me less shares than my money bought?????

Thanks for the heads up Winni, I am still short of over 3m shares I owned in December and I have added somewhere in 4 figures to my investment since then. TG and IG have cost me a fortune (for a pensioner) so I'll have to pick up shares at the lowest price I am gifted with from now on or follow the masses and stagnate until the inevitable earnings start coming in and greed for rising TLOU share prices sets in.

£300 withdrawal from my Betfair account was a surprise - bank showed it was from Paddy Power Betfair!

Bought at 1.7c so hope that will be the minimum closing price. 1.5c to 1.7c spread and IG only allow 3 decimal places on the price, so $0.016 or $0.017 because 0.0165c needs 4 digits. ASX is a pain why don't they price up in cents , LSE use pence so it was much more flexible. I really think Tlou dumped LSE/AIM because Kala have made future placings as rare as hen's teeth.

I am sure there are one of two people who actually invest in TLOU for some reason you cannot comprehend.

I have been with IG for quite a while and found that trading on ASX is very different to LSE , and their commission charges have changed.

If I am learning the ramifications with an idea of what IG were doing before - newcomers may struggle despite being brighter than you.

1. Trading on ASX is free if you use GBP as the currency. There is a small fx charge on either because buys ad sells both have a GBP/AUD fx because ASX deals in AUD.

2. ISA's are limited to GBP so you cannot deal in AUD without the fx element.

That will suffice for most investors if they use an ISA.

However if they reach their quota of £20k pa, further new money that year requires a Share Dealing account. These accounts permit you to use foreign currencies if you are so inclined provided the option to ALWAYS USE GBP is turned off.

4. All being equal, selling on a foreign platform will allow you to receive that countries currency and hold it. This has the advantage of being able to buy on that exchange with that currency so no fx charges are involved at the deal time.

5. Shifting that currency back to GBP will attract an invisible fx charge of course (0.7% correction on the true fx rate).

6. The bad news is that all trades outside of GBP trades , may be charged commission. AUD charge out at a minimum of AUD 10 for buy or sell. The excess is 0.1% but $10 covered most of my trades until I needed to move ASX shares into my ISA unnecessarily.

I have switched browsers from Firefox to Opera , and therefore needed new password management. I actually paid for Keeper but Firefox was free. Firefox password protection is all handled automatically and if they need you to login which a master password you know!!! Keeper needs the same but they don't tell you so automatic passwords are not always provided. Whilst I still like Opera , I thought Keeper was part of Opera and I have wasted over £40 for 2 years of Keeper!! No refunds from what I see!

Why mention it? Because if I am not logged into LSE , Keeper does not tell me! And green carp appears on the TLOU chat! Firefox ALWAYS LOGGED ME IN .... and is far superior from user friendly point of view. I am having to go to Firefox to get the passwords that Keeper did not find on their so called import from other browsers!

What they did find was an ancient Brad Smith login when I was on BT many years ago!! Firefox on my Iphone is now a problem too - they have been in synch but I am having to add new passwords to get them back in synch.

Market opened at 1am , and IG are very upfront that Tou prices suffer from 20 minute latency. I was therefore looking at market close on Friday 1.6 to 1.6 making me guess at the likely prevailing prices.

I got rid of my goodwill payments offering 1.6 and at 1:08am got my shares! At 1.6c , but with a new spread of 1.3 to 1.5c

IG rarely get a limit bid at a lower price, which irritates now I am obliged to use limit bids! AIM gave me Fixed price quotes which I loved. You offered , they showed their deal , you had 14 seconds to accept to reject. Great.

If you requested a million shares and they only has 340 shares at your price you would not be lumbered with a 340 partial fill that cost the commission price. More than the 340 shares value!

No commission charges now removes that irritation but there is little prospect of buying below your limit price.

TDW and Jarvis X-O both used to beat the limit price more often than not. But Jarvis don't trade on ASX , and TDW sold their execution only business to Interactive Investors or a name like that. TDW trusted investors to fund their accounts by settlement date - perhaps that back-fired on them - but it felt nice to be be treated like an honest person. I am trying work out if it is was possible that my missing £175 on the share dealing account was included in a lump sum when I moved my would-be ISA money into the ISA. But how a cash up front company put the account into a £130 debit is a mystery - and the answer will probably explain where my £175 went. With AUD and GBP as active currencies it confuses the figures. I could not move GBP to AUD so they have changed my terms/conditions there i.e. AUD balances not active , and CFD surely figured to produce losses , how else?

I understand that start-ups need to have an MCap of 100m before institutions even consider investing. We are about 20m, so we need a share-price of 5*1.6c (8c) to achieve that level. If everyone thought as I do - a formality once Kala is profitable. The current short term prospects simply have to outweigh previous valuations - by a few miles imho - that is why sellers below 2c strike me as total buffoons. But why should anyone complain if we all get golden nuggets for sfa?

Dick,Donk , management have put us in a position that will be the envy of most start up businesses!

Which bits of the Kala agreement do you not understand? All of them is the obvious answer.

We are in a chicken and egg situation and have been since last summer.|

Kala , BPC and TLOU clearly agreed on the current plan and its forerunners , and decided it was in everyone's interest to scrap their long-term plans for the PPA in 2025 Q3 at BPC and TLOU's expense. Neither of them had the cash to bring it online!

Kala, on the other hand, will find the cost of the PPA is negligible for them , but are entitled look after Data Centre's interests in return for taking ALL THE RISK on Tlou's future finance!! Not only that , but they will ensure TLOU has enough cash to see the PPA through!! Security for BPC's future PPA at zero cost to the Govt? They could not tell us these plans while they were being planned . For me that explains the lull in communications in part, and TG's situation , whatever it is , will not have helped this planning stage either.

It needs imagination Donk - something that you'll never have! You don't have the IQ required.

Outlook

Tlou continues to advance its strategic goal of achieving initial power generation and revenue in 2025. The use of existing gas wells enables early-stage activity while supporting future scalability through expanded drilling and infrastructure development.

The Company considers this development an important milestone in the commercialisation of its gas reserves. The collaboration with Kala is expected to provide a pathway to near-term revenue while contributing to energy security and digital infrastructure growth in Botswana.

Operational Update – Kala Data Centre Project

Tlou Energy Limited ("Tlou" or "the Company"), a company dual-listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE), provides the following operational update on the development of the Kala Data Centre Project, located at the Company’s Lesedi operations base in Botswana.

Kala Data Centre Project

Kala Data FZCO ("Kala") is progressing development of a high-density computational facility (the “Facility”) at Tlou’s Lesedi project site. The Facility will be powered by electricity generated from Tlou’s coalbed methane gas reserves, offering a secure and cost-effective solution for energy-intensive computing operations.

Site Preparation

Site preparation works for the Kala site, adjacent to the Lesedi substation, have commenced and include installation of foundations, fencing, lighting, and a project office.

1. Confirmation that TG has stood down and all his shares are in family trust funds or similar

2. Kala have order a generator for immediate delivery , and another 5 for August. And #4 and #6 are producing enough gas for the first one. But Kala are mindful of our requirement for the PPA , and both Kala and BPC are targets for enhanced gas flows. Colm has taken charge of the ASX obligations and is complying with them.

Looks perfect - the workforce will have a spring in their step now production and income are inside the tunnel and not over the horizon.

IG have not credit my £500 goodwill so I have before the price rises. Got 1.65c eventually after a kerfuffle!

My ISA is in Sterling so orders involve the variable exchange rate! If they estimate a penny over the balance they decline the order. The total is usually below the estimate and my previous trade left me with £6.95

I got the share count within a few pence of £506.95 and ordered! Went through at £491.59 so over £15 wasted!

tried to buy £15 but they declined below £90 minimum. Fixed price quote was superbly quick to calculate but is unavailable on ASX trading. Spread was 1.6c to 1.7c , then rose to 1.8c to 1.9c , before falling back to 1.3c to 1.6c

He is right in my case - if I was as knowledgeable as he , I'd understand why the Civil war and Ian Karma were coming , and why Tlou was not going to stay the course with interest free loans, having survived for a decade through a world pandemic without an income of any sort during that period. Bought at 1.82c last night , but some clown sold half a million shares @ 1.5c after my buy - and last one over the line dictates the closing price down under. Colm and GG are not great spokesmen so we need the new Managing director named to get the wheels turning. (Donkey will not realise the play on words for sure i.e. spokes and wheels, but not many do).

Winni , that is what Avanti Communications (AVN) should have been capable of! Hylas #1 to #5 are up there above the equator in the Beverley Hills position of satellite space. I thought was precious on its own.

Their latest Satellite (when I was interested) had 24 directional beams so that could split support to all those areas in Europe , Middle East or Africa. The early satellites only had 2 beams if I remember it right.

The MOD were using some of bandwidth after the original AVN folded and reformed as a new outfit without the original £7 per share holders but with the £650m debt that strangled them! If only TG was in charge instead of the Welshman (who persisted with Africa where broadband was a mystery to 95% of the population many of whom had no electricity in those days). The CEO taking personal profits was worthy of Gerald Ratner and putting his faith in Africans should have warned me against TLOU but both projects looked nailed on to me! And those hurt.

I am finally able trade , I moved my pitiful balance from my Dealing Account to the ISA , prepared a buy in my ISA down to the last penny (unusual event for me) , had it accepted at the asking price of 1.8c, and it was not settled to my shock and horror! Looked at Commonwealth Bank which is always very active, and the spread was zero!

Would you believe it is a Bank holiday or whatever they call them in Oz , because tis Charlie's birthday 😁

There is no way to manoeuvre a negative balance legally - and IG and other brokers received and agreed an edict that says they should cancel negative balances. That was £130 so they fulfilled that pledge plus £20.

Going to give it a rest - as long TLOU reach 2.7c it will be all profit from there and £5k or whatever will become peanuts. Like the Beatles sang, it won't be long!
