Just took a look at the 2024 end of year RNS by Martin McIver to see what stage we were with Kala in June 2024.

"The Company is evaluating additional projects including solar power and possibly hydrogen production, carbon black/graphite production and crypto currencies in addition to the gas-fired power project. These projects may be subject to regulatory approvals"

So no hint of the Kala deal being terribly significant there. But Hydrogen not ruled out either is worthy of note.

This is what I suspected - between June and November Kala and TLOU negotiated the partnership - and PPA took a backseat while TLOU's funding problems were easing considerably/completely!!!

Did Kala want Tlou to dump AIM/LSE? Logically , I reckon so! That would keep the circle within UAE, Australia and Botswana , all of which are set in concrete for obvious reasons.

I think we are all in suspense waiting for news of how big the first funding for extra wells and drilling is going to be. Dewatering is the key to everything. We need to find out what gas flows we are capable of getting , then what size and how many generators we need , and how many Mw Serowe can expect soon(ish) and how much Gas and Electricity Kala want. It is all very obvious surely? The critical factor is how much the data streams and the PPA are going to bring in. BPC are going to be in competition with Kala to keep TLOU earnings from them higher than the Data Centre earnings.

They were desperate to have competition in the form of KE/Seka to keep the price as LOW as possible.

TLOU were able to name their price , within reason , as the sole provider of CBM power. With TG at the helm they were guaranteed a satisfactory compromise on pricing imho. I am unsure how much influence TLOU will have over pricing but Kala , so far , look like very reasonable guys, so fingers crossed for fair deals all round.

I have hopefully boosted TLOU share price to 2.4c and it only took £43 to achieve it.

We are obliged to enter a minimum of £90 for our ISA trade in GBP to be entertained.

Today I funded my account with £43 which is worth aud90 - the minimum trade value.

ISA account has to be GBP so I cannot convert my GBP to AUD using FX , BUT on my limit bid I chose currency AUD to trade, entered 90 AUD as the value and voila!!!!!!!

I am liking IG again. Being able to calculate in AUD and how many shares I want has become far easier with this available. It would be even better at 90 Pula but that currency is not supported I imagine. And neither is the Botswana exchange.

We closed at 2.4c - what a stupid system for ASX closing price £44 is enough to overthrow any size of trade - but it is fun.

Bots, a new power station takes time too. Especially one with limited cash and limited shareholders like you who are too thick to stir far less provide that cash.

If you consider what news TLOU feed us , as long as you believe what they say , they keep us in the picture!

1. Gas flows? They are volatile! What is the point in 500 Rns simulating the sounds from the golden shot? Up a bit, down a bit, looking good, dropping , rising etc etc.

When they stabilise they'll tell us what levels they settled at.

2. Optimising gas flow? No point if the distribution complex is not commissioned and accepted by BPC.

3. TX completion? Catch 22 - no point until gas flows stabilise , mainly dewatering successful we hope.

4. PPA? It relies on 2 and 3

5. Why were 2 and 3 not a priority from last summer? The partnership between TLOU and Kala is the deal of the century for both companies. Both remaining independent but TLOU sharing Kala profits whilst earning an income of their own from their side of the PPA.

6. Kala plan to make a fortune in their speciality , but during a lull , if the PPA is paying more than data is, they can boost TLOU's delivery with the power they planned for data , and their profits will be Kala's ...... and Tlou will get 25% or 50% of it. So if we saturate the 25Mw capacity, it is in Kala's interest to raise the capacity from 25Mw to Serowe.

7. I have understood this process and invested in it. Tlou could hardly publicise the plans before it was signd and sealed? When the news is out there I reckon Kala will have a queue of CBM start up companies knocking on their door? Tlou have the gas , the sun (solar) , and land that will keep Kala busy for as long as they want it.

As for Masama and the dates - why was it significant until you misrepresented MAS013 and Seka and TLOU?

I see you finally accepted this Kala / TLOU partnership is brilliant by supporting a poster who was grateful to me for the Kala announcement I have taken a month for Winni to find for me.

I think Colm has written his announcement on June 11th with the March report from Kala as a guide.

And he (or his aide) posted the wrong document which I read, and then sent the Colm version which superseded the one I saw.

I am finished now both messages know the Kala plans. The share price ought to rise now and I cannot add much.

You cannot believe a word he says and will he retract his stupid message? Of course not!

And he wonders why we challenge him?

All of us should have spotted that whatever mud Bots throws at posters on here , is the mirror image of himself.

1. He calls just about everyone stupid! Ian Karma , Sekaname , Botala , and any Botswanan rags (newspapers) who supply him with ammunition, no matter how wet it is, are the exceptions ! And rumour mongers who he invents to voice his cranky ideas of how there is civil war brewing , how Ian Karma could return as President, how he might nationalise TLOU , leaving us high and dry! etc etc

2. He says we never talk about TLOU and just make our posts about him? He directs that at me , someone who spends his life thinking about TLOU! It is he who talks about TLOU not being the leading CBM authority in Botswana and finds stuff about his favoured opposition! Anybody who has half a brain will know there is no competition in Botswana! Their demand for Green electricity surpasses that! If there was 20 CBM operators the size of TLOU , Botswana could still use more as they close the dirty power stations and cancel imports from similar places elsewhere.

3. The only person responsible for inventing competition is Bots. Licence holders for CBM were obliged to enter bids for an arbitrary 100Mw that TLOU never wanted! Because of para 2 , they knew that Botswana would buy every bit of electricity they could raise! They requested 2 or 3 MW and Seka got the rest!

4. Para 3 dragged on and on , Seka needed more time , and then when the offers were ready , the fiasco about previous deliveries of CBM power was unveiled. Music to Bots ears as he predicted the share price could drop to 1p - just about the only thing he has got right! But it took a worldwide pandemic to achieve it.

5. He denies TLOU the mitigating excuses that Covid provided for upwards of 3 years. Unbelievable.

And now to the point I started to make.

On Hot Copper recently , he published a totally pointless history of how Seka had drilled lord knows how many wells back in 2013 and there was proof is some article published by a professional writer.

He even quoted the district , MAS013 , where Seka were outstripping Tlou.

For me, and many of you maybe, TLOU started in 2015 with admission to AIM and a presence on this message board! RNS are still on this site from 2015 to 2024 when we left AIM!!!

Nothing appears on TLOU here except our chat.

Well, I thought I'd check out MAS013 and it took 1 announcement on the TLOU web page to find it!

Masima was owned by TLOU from 2009 so a pointless post was deemed even more pointless!

This was published on Hot Copper and he has ignored the issue and still thinks I am stupid and he is infallible!

Sounds plausible Winni, Kala must have been very aware of TLOU commitments when they first approached TLOU a couple of years ago, assuming it was them who were the prospective crypto miners. It was a great opportunity for them with us locked out for maybe years , and their gas was still being flared from #4.

Once the vaccines appeared and lockdowns eased , crypto and Hydrogen were dumped to favour work on the PPA using a revived #4 and the new #6 both looking promising.

Can't wait to hear what Kala have achieved since March. They look very professional and they must be so well funded at this early stage. The big spends are yet to come after they crank up the number of units and the comms to their customers. And we'll see if TLOU get extra drilling equipment or run with the old kit.

thanks winni, it is now apparent that colm's tlou announcement somehow triggered the kala release from march. kala's download made me associate it with june 11th and i never had time to realise it was a document from 4 months before.

i am left unsure whether i saw that bpc were agreeable to all of this, or whether i assumed they were because kala had left the door open for tlou to progress the ppa if conditions favoured that.

seeing it today , kala could be in charge. it reads as though they can decide whether to use our gas to produce electricity and then whether to send it to serowe or to use it in their data business? a bit worrying if tlou are merely a puppet .

i am fairly sure that bpc was mentioned somewhere in my searches , and seemed to be compliant with this. but was it issued by kala or tlou or the govt? nothing we can do about it anyway i guess?

last night i saw a buy at 2.4c which would have been a pleasant closing price. but then somebody accepted 1.8c to cancel that 2.4c for the close! ****ed off, the spread was 1.8c to 2c , so i bought a few at 2c which was the closing price. 11.1% up reads better but not as good as 2.4c or that 3.5c which is long overdue.

Winni, after "If you looking for KALA update to its investors search on google and it comes up." , I tried google (because I use duckduckgo as my default) , and what I got was the Colm Cloonan version of it from TLOU that was released within a few minutes of the Kala version.

Please check if Colm wrote the one you found because I'd like to see it again.

Cannot find their announcements but from their pages they describe their dealings with energy producers and end with this ....

So BPC were probably comforted by that.

As for BPC being bankrupt , that was pretty obvious!

Paying $40, $30 or whatever it is now from S.A. and selling it in Botswana for third or less than that price is the road to ruin for any company. However , the Govt control the price they charge , and the Govt therefore need to support BPC, like Richie Sunak did in the UK with his furlough loans/grants/gifts to crooks/ scheme!

TLOU's 2Mw , 3Mw or even 10Mw is minute and 25Mw are not the answer to Botswana problems.

Botswana need to get TLOU earning enough to allow massive expansions as soon as possible. But have they left it too late? There is a chance that the Kala partnership will stop TLOU reaching 25Mw for BPC if the Data Centre makes it uneconomic for TLOU to progress with that route. Being able to extract gas and deliver it, or generated power, to Kala a few hundred yards away instead of building new TX lines 100Km long has it's merits.

Was that why TG retired? His mission to help Botswana's people was now so far in the future that he would not see it happen? Economically Kala is a dream come true but we old duffers are wary of AI and where it will end!

Snap. My first thoughts on the CEO were TG's partner in crime Nathan Mitchell who is still well invested in TLOU despite founding the company and resigning from the board. If his other ventures were successful and looked after themselves he might have had time for us. And then the Doc who lacks experience in running a mining business but must have learned plenty whilst deciding to be so heavily invested.

I hope Tony is healthy enough to participate in the choice and isn't a victim of one of the brain related problems that I fear because my mother died of dementia but she was in her 90's. I can forget my heavy favourite actors and sports personality names and sometimes need to google them to refresh my mind. People like Keely Hodgkinson and Jennifer Lawrence, household names are recent ones. Thomlinson and Garner were in my mind but I knew they were wrong. And I have like footballer Shaw who played for Southampton and England and is now with Man Utd - it had gone but has just come back to me Luke Shaw , I had the name Liam firmly in mind but knew it was wrong. Doctors don't treat it seriously and usually say they have the same problem.

Not that I have raised the subject since Liz died.

Back on the CEO , I don't suppose there are many candidates for the job. Such a shame Tony could not see this through until there was enough money coming in to guarantee full wages. Another reason I thought Kala might take us over. I guess they are all still on a percentage of their salary brought on by the Covid crisis.

That will put off most candidates ..... they'll want millions in bonuses each year I reckon?

We have been lucky with the guys we have, though I think GG has been on full pay throughout.

That might be justified because he was our man in Havana (Botswana) during lock-downs and he kept the Govt happy with licences etc afaik. Probably worked harder than he is used to?

Winni, on the message boards it is obvious that any company which is established, making billions in profit, paying dividends, has an enormous number of shareholders etc will not be subjected to shareholder chat determining whether new investors buy in or not.

But where a start-up is yet to earn any income, is issuing placings to raise hand to mouth funds, and needs to create credibility that it will survive another formation year or two ...... there is no history to consult or dividends to assess. New investors either believe the bs put out by touts and the company itself or read the message boards and decide whether everyday folk who have bought shares in said company are happy with their lot or not?

Tlou have so few trades , if any , per day that ,most of June's buy trades were mine. Each one a purchase at the top price in the spread. And the sales might have been yours from the other end of the spread.

Once I knew that , I ceased buying and opened a thread on Hot Copper. A buyer on that date cleared the ASX below 1.5p - something I considered but required me to use my missus savings which I want to go to my boys.

She was totally against gambling her savings on the stock exchange so I respect her view on that. Especially when Tlou crashed to 1p or less.

I suggested on Hot Copper that nobody sells below 1.5c and nobody did! The offer of 1.2c per share was not taken , was that you? The spread moved to 1.5c upwards. Now I suggest offers of less than 3.5c be rejected.

We were worth that amount pre-de-listing from AIM last year. The extraordinary share prices since were probably caused by people who were selling ASX shares from their non-ISA a/c and buying back into their ISA.

i sold at 1.2c and bought back at 1c and increased my share count by 200k shares.

In tax year 2025/26 I had a new ISA allowance but caught a cold!

I sold at 0.9c and had to buy back at over 2c and lost 800k shares.

But my portfolio is all under my ISA again and it's value has doubled with the current rise in price.

I'm still down on my 2024 count but my average price paid has dropped to 1.1c so my expected yield will compensate when Tlou start earning and the price escalates.

I tried to convince the Hot Copper crew not to sell cheap after the 1m @ 1.4c buy you referenced.

Was it coincidence? I suggested they ignore buys below 1.5p and they did!

Price rose to 2.2c as a result. I have now recommended a floor of 3.5c - the convertible loans buy-back price.

There were best part of a million shares traded overnight. Could be a few individuals buying - tonight could be an interesting end to the week if it is people holding on to their shares.

Music to my ears ...... it was 1.2c to 1.5c when I came to bed. 50k at 1.5c had risen to 6 times that number.

3.5c is the price TLOU agreed to pay IF THEY BUY BACK THE CONVERTIBLE LOANS which I am hoping will happen once we start earning 25% of Kala profits.

Spread is now 1.7c to 2c according to Hot Copper TLOU page...

When I had a limited company , Liz and I were the directors.

She was Company Secretary and I was M.D. after my accountant told me the Company Secretary is the one who goes to jail if there is major problem legally. I never told her that of course. She thought it was her job to sit on my knee 😜and take things down, so to speak.

Morning Winni, yeah closed at 1.4c and almost a million shares bought. Perhaps my post on Hot Copper got through to someone. We are so close earning there is bound to be a Lesedi gold rush soon. Is this the start?
