I was trying to check on the ASX site if there were trades as yiur surprise post arrived.
Zero trades seems right. 6.2c to 7c is the current spread but the ASX public aren't as gullible as those on AIM - none of them are biting!
The close will go back to 7.6c if there is no trades. Suits me well.

Here's hoping tomorrow the UK price approaches the Aussie price later. I was fearful that the opposite would happen overnight. The sp is only a comforter for the babies who have invested. If this company was worth 11p when the pension fund bought in , it simply has to be worth more now. C-19 is a worry but so is it for the whole world in most sectors. Once investors hear about TLOU I fully expect the price to rally - this is the safest prospect for a new company you can dream of. The only other one is the pharma which develops a vaccine for C-19 and how much testing is that going to undergo? But everyone else will be subject to that delay as well .... $10m to see the birth of a power station is quite incredible?

And a 50k buy at 6.8c has just gone through so the exchanges have moved closer.

Time has stood still between then and now, apart from TLOU and Botswana agreeing on an interim PPA.

With the benefit of hindsight from the recent RNS it is a magnificent listen.
NE used £ instead of USD $ , $10m looks like peanuts for introduction of CBM power.

Do we have enough gas to power 2Mw?
Tony has said they'll continue dewatering #4 and shut down #3.
This makes dewatering more manageable I think BUT does not mean #3 is dead!
As Damo highlighted - it is saving the gas from #3 from being flared - if #4 is not going to produce #4 , the the two are expected to IFF 2Mw is essential (which I don't think it is). My reading is that coal to grid is the mission - once that is complete the indefinite future of this project will be forever expanding the number of Mw i.e. a live power station.

You've stuck it out going uphill so please don't give up now we are reaching the plateau and the downhill.

ASX closed at 3.71p (7c) without funding. With the funding confirmed you'll see 8p I reckon.
TG has proved his honesty - I don't think he would have have Colm to make the claims he did before Xmas if they were untrue.
From there $10 or $30 both looked blooming good bets. He talked about financiers wanting their 'clip' , and us wanting those clips to be small - I sensed he'd take $10m if they want too big a return. That is enough to generate 2Mw and distribute it. After that we'd be asking for secured loans at a lower clip ....

I look forward to the outcome but both $10M and $30M will get you 8p+.
Personally, I'm expecting the pension fund to see their 11p too.

NE, the silent majority as a whole took ridiculously low prices for their shares - their actions,in the circumstances , were louder than words.
In a ridiculous way, imo, our saviour was running out of money by H2 2020.

If we'd been funded for longer we may not have asked for an interim PPA , the nucleus of latest announcement. I think it is possible that Eric Molale might have done the same as Mr Moagi if we'd asked him - but in his own time. He had insisted we prove we have adequate gas for 10Mw and presumably we don't (a certainty!).

So TLOU turned it on its head and suggested they give us a PPA for what we do have ..... and Botswana complied. The logic was simple and inspired , it made perfect sense! As it is equally logical that funding that is earmarked for a full PPA (I trust Colm) will now be avaiable and that has been stated and not contradicted by anyone worthy of an opinion.

Boris is a bit worrying - the 7 day and 14 self-isolation is looking iffy? Perhaps it should be 14 days and 28 days? He has not been relaxing enough for sure.
Ian Duncan Smith is on TV saying other infections caught post Covid-19 can produce similar symptoms and someone in govt took 12 days to recover. And he'd contracted a secondary infection and C-19 had wilted.

Tony looks so pleased that TLOU have rewarded our patience. I cannot imagine how he felt with so little support from shareholders in this last 6 months. He has just "come up trumps" - I'll leave it there :O)

I'm pleased for you Woody, that is a blooming amazing average price compared to most of us when we gor started. I got in nearer 8p if I remember rightly.

I have my ISA with X-O (£5.95 per trade fixed) and they don't offer a quote faciliity.
Until IG lowered their frequent trader fee to £3 (from £5 in the last month or two) X-O was my choice.

I still like them - they allow you to opt for 'best price' instead of supplying your limit, and 90% of the time they get me a better price than I expected. Many brokers miraculously get exactly your limit price too often imho?

Look at the timing! ucmiu! The price on ASX was rising 105% as he posted it.

For the benefit of the uninformed, time they are better educated on certain Tlou history - as published by Tlou:

2.3. Botswana Project:

In 2003, Botswana Development Corporation (now Kalahari Energy) commissioned a feasibility study to establish the technical and economic viability of developing a CBM project in Botswana. The study area covered approximately 1.3 million acres of the eastern Kalahari-Karoo basin, and according to the independent expert's geological report in section 8, the results indicated CBM gas resources within the Karoo Coal succession. The results also indicated that the gas reservoirs are comprised of not only coal seams, but also organically rich, carbonaceous shales and mudstones.

Saber Energy paid approximately US$4.5 million in 2007 to acquire approximately 12,500km2 of CBM prospecting licences in Botswana, including the Karoo Central area which falls within Botswana Development Corporation's study area. Over the next two years, Saber Energy undertook an exploration programme that comprised drilling exploration coreholes, stratigraphic chip holes and stratigraphic coreholes, totalling approximately 90 wells.

In 2009 Tlou farmed into Saber Energy's CBM prospecting licences and executed a work programme of drilling 10 fully evaluated exploration core holes, and ultimately acquired ownership in November 2010 in exchange for ~30% of Tlou's then fully diluted share capital. Talon Metals Corp. (Tlou's largest shareholder) merged with Saber Energy in March 2010 and currently holds these Shares.

All I can say is - there is so much history that the LSE and Twitter twats simply have got zero clue about.

I am trying to get the current position for you on IG.

In 10 minutes I am unable to get a quote from them at all!
Never seen that before so London is is active for sure.
Spread is unwaivering at 2.1p to 2.31p up over 7% ..... don't believe that for a second.
I hope you got in what you could afford with your original broker. This is going faster than I dreamed could happen.

I have consistently repeated that this project only started a year ago or less!
He supports Sekaname and would be invested in them if they were a public company no doubt.
They got a PPA 8 years ago for 180Mw and still haven't produced CBM!
In that time TLOU have flared two separate sites and in the last 12 months or less have negotiated a PPA against all the odds in the current climate.

And both of you were so critical of Colm, GG and TG using similar words.

I am happy, well ecstatic in fact , you have climbed down (presumably) and that BTS could not afford to sell up and Chris is being rewarded for sharing his faith in TLOU.

It may be the Sertraline that is responsible for my absolute faith in Tony (an anxiety pill I was prescribed when my wife was dying) but the only I wavered in that faith was when you posted you were OUT - so I never thought you were the fool on that day?

I'd slept in for once, read that, saw the RNS and saw things in there that I blew up out of all proportion.
Name they said the flows were fluctuating UP and DOWN - DOWN hit me like a train!
I thought down from 20 mfpd and sold my UK shares!
Quite a compliment to you given my stance. before. It only lasted 20 minutes before I realised the RNS was no worse than previous ones - and I bought back in on a falling market so it was not a disaster for me.

Will AIM follow? Probably not - fools here still think they'll be able to buy for less than a penny and will think double that is good! Possibly why the Aussies are not rushing in - they might wait for morning?

The FTSE might be very interesting too , MM. 105% up on IG - but where my £14k loss improves at the close, tonight my much reduced losses will go t'other way (unless somebody shells out some cash overnight.).

The London close was disappointing but I put that down to people not expecting any news far less that RNS for some time.
My boys are invested in TLOU and I had a text from one asking why the the upturn on Friday's AIM price - so he had not monitoring the RNSs. I am gobsmacked myself. If this was a war , I think Minister Moagi would win the George Cross if there is the equivalent in Botswana. He is my hero. If ever there were mitigating ciecumstances for not following up on his promises this was one!

ASX already values us more than the FTSE based on Thursday closing prices. London obvious moved slightly higher (2.05p to 1.91p equivalent) so 4.2c is needed to restore the positions. 4.2c could easily be surpassed - my average on ASX is just over 9c which may need the PPA to be concluded. Hopefully possible in April.
9c is 4.4p equiv. which doesn't look an unreasonable target. My UK average on my IG account is 2.9p ... so it will be an interesting week.

I had it working ages ago and added ADVFN to the 10 other searches that I had.
Was prepared to abandon it because I have had difficulties with compulsory logins in the past and lost control of the site.
ADVFN went like a dream until I started to download the TRADE COUNTS and this has been bugging me since before Xmas.

Should have done this years ago - I knocked up a noddy to simply report what is going on at the various events. Today is good - ADVFN do not sent their invitation to give them money for an upgraded subscription as they do when trading is active so this is releaively simple!

It fills the buffer here and I added this into an already complicated program?
No wonder I had problems!

I watched an old film the other night and a guy was playing a familiar game.
Took me ages to remember the name of - but I have been paid a small fortune whilst a contractor (things were so different a while back) learning it.
