Confuscius he say TLOU long time CBM and Solar - what's changed grasshopper?
Whizz, the company is looking good to me.
We could be looking at BDC for funding of 2Mw CBM power, and funding from a global source for solar.
And either funder to fund the poles and wires, TG might play them off against each other to get the best rates.
Some posters have mentioned the alternative funding and doubted it exists. I think TG has just captured their Queen and is playing a blinder. Not many CEO's have opened up options at such a critical time - most are facing bankruptcy imho.
I'm hoping Trina will be glad to get an order to keep them ticking over - there is probably room to get them at a reasonable price or favourable terms or both - same with the pylons or poles and cables, if we're very lucky.
Panels are from Vietnam and Thailand if they are made to order.
20Mw @ roughly 400w each is 50k panels , sounds too many to have stock-piled?
"A global footprint
From simple beginnings in China, Trina Solar has expanded globally. We now sell our products in more than 100 countries and have regional headquarters in Singapore, Tokyo, Zurich and San Jose, offices in Madrid, Mexico, Chile, Dubai, Milan, Sydney and manufacturing base in Vietnam and Thailand. Collectively, Trina modules around the world are displacing over 32 million tons of CO2, equivalent to planting 5.8 million acres of trees. "
