Nagy: I don't disagree that my figures are 'debatable'. However, I've consulted for such companies and the 'real-world' situation is that a plant is always being it with unforeseen downtime due to equipment failure, supply issues etc.
It would indeed be nice if they could achieve a higher figure, and only time will tell - but the problem you, I and everyone else has is we don't know the actual 'process' being followed with respect to 'how' the plant is loaded, ran, unloaded, maintained etc.
This is why I've sent 3 requests to AEG in the past month asking them to clarify the actual Utah plant usage and process.
Stating that a plant can produce X tons per hour may only be based on a 'single' run, without any intermediate plant checks, maintenance etc.
As yet, as you yourself know, AEG does not wish to communicate anything to shareholders.
But we wait and see.
The best thing AEG can do is to develop a 'Redundancy Plan'. i..e rather than trying to scale up the current 5T plant, it would be better to build a 2nd 5T plant on site to cover downtime on any plant. It's better to have 2 plants producing 5 tons each than one plant producing 10 tons. Likelywise, then build a 3rd 5T plant and once commissioned then begin scaling up the others. (imo)
