I assume, as you are young, you are still working.
Therefore, I also assume you have a workplace pension, which is invested for you.
Those investments are invested in multiple funds which has minor movements, they are not invested in individual shares which have always had economic and geopolitical movements.
Putting your money in a bank will get you 4% a year currently, putting you money in funds will in the long run get you a lot more. You also won't have the major swings down, but also not up.
Either way, as I have now said probably 101 times, it's your choice, your money, but I'm sure me and OJ will see you on 31st May cruise........?????????
