This time we know another RNS is due re: the significant losses & also hopefully some positive statements regarding the debt restructuring & operations. btw I'm covered for both outcomes ie funds set aside for any short term dip on news to increase my holding level (which i would welcome actaully) or a sharp move up by being currently invested & which i think is extremely feasable. atb & have a good weekend atb & have a good weekend

I'll state the obvious on a few of the points you make & hopefully it wont come across as patronizing. The 10% isnt surprising given the sudden resurregence in macro economic uncertainty & for example the near 2% drop in the DOW on just one of those days. As i demonstrated before any price direction over that time period has corresponded closely with the ftse move even intraday as was seen yesterday where we had a rise on the sp - check out the relevant post. Thats at odds with your post about secret meetings etc but can actually be corroborated on closer inspection. A big loss coming is indeed FACT & known which is why we had the dramatic drop on the news from around the 110p level. The loss not all factored into the price as FACT - sorry thats not a FACT but an ASSUMPTION by yourself Banking covenants will be breached - thats actually an ASSUMPTION presented as a FACT! Read the last few RNSs. We had covenant breaches at 30th june for which waivers were received. The companys were looking to restructure the covennats for 31st dec as of the half yearly report statement on the 28th Aug. The trading statement of the 3rd Oct indicates that the company is confident of servicing the debt repayments & continuing operational activities. New management has to prove itself FACT - actually its a fundamental requirement and the management change addresses some of the sentiment issues associated with the stock. Better to have new management in & given a chance to prove themselves then the old intact management team. Initiating an independent assessment is a good start to implement better management practices & procedures. A good initial' move so far "How can you generate sector growth if you make a $100m loss on a $1billion turnover " - by assessing where the major loss took place which we know to be the fixed price wind carrier contracts for example. Thats been reflected in a massive drop in the SP although the core business is solid as per John Kennedys coments in the 3rd Oct trading update & posted previously. "Lamprell's position in the refurbishment market remains pre-eminent. After three months with the Company I believe the fundamentals of the business continue to be sound and the order book and new contract pipeline remain strong"....... At this point i dont think yoyu can just assume therell be a fall of the SP on an RNS release or that the recent drop was due to 'secret meetings' , institutional offloading' and the other unsubstantiated speculation that youve posted. The last few drops off the profit warnings were from levels above 100p with drops to around mid 60p's. Dont get me wrong - in some ways i would actually welcome a short term dip to be able to increase my holding yet further for the eventual recovery that we should see. I think that those putting all there eggs in one basket for a drop may actually get caught out on the day with reassurances re: the companys prospects going forward & offsetting what may be a heavily priced in loss anyway Just a thought Have a good weekend all

Theres numerous other factors beyond the absolute loss figure (important as it is) that underpin an investment here.

Thats why the emphasis & importance on the agreements with the bank etc however the term "too big" is defined as per the 3rd oct rns "The Company remains in discussions with its lending banks regarding its covenants and remains confident that it will have sufficient cash flow to fund its ongoing activities and debt repayments."

a bit of a simplistic outlook imho & again focused on absolute 'possible' loss figures in isolation rather then sentiment being undermined thru previous lack of transparency & ability of the company to service existing contracts / debts whilst capitalising on the sector growth expected. Investors will also be strongly focused on all losses now being fully reported with the ability of the company to move forward from its current position - thats where the independent assessment & banking agreements come into play. atb

Last post before i leave the screen for a while. Depends primarily on the statements re: servicing the debts & funding for ongoing projects. The main issue with LAM isnt the absolute size of the loss (the market expects it to be big) but the ability of the company to continue profitable operations beyond the current financial year. With clear statements on the losses, measures taken to address the fixed priice contract problems & funding should see a lot investor confidence return imho - thats where the justification of theindependent audit comes in. The potential upside movement & prospects for a rise are more compelling then any short term price drop scenario from these levels imho atb

3rd quarter earnings are a real mixed bag with KKR just coming in better then expected as well as US GDP figures. The problem with risk off on equities is that Govt bonds dont really deliver any sort of returns so aprt from buying corporate debt, risk on for equities will be back on imho. As long as theres strong confirmation on funding ongoing activities & servicing bank debt (as indicated in the trading update) i think we might see that strong push upwards on the price - I think a strong negative sentiment for the loss has already been priced in. Lets see

Then you would have noted LAM's sp bouyant around the 80p mark until the 3rd quarter earnings from the US hit the Dow & S&P by over 1% - that saw a hit on the general markets as well as LAM's sp. Following days saw dips in all major idices the direction of which LAM paralleled. Yesterday we saw an initial rise in the Ftse which again the LAM sp followed with a rise above 2% followed by an intraday drop to finish flat which again the lAM sp followed to cut the 2% rise to araound 1%. Today the markets been looking towards the US GDP figures (just out) which have added uncertainty after Amazon & co's poor 3rd quarterly earnings yesterday & renewed LIBOR concerns today. Loking at the main indices movements directly related to LAM's sp gives a much claerer insight into the price movements as opposed to abstract speculation imho good luck

This stock tends to have a greater reaction to any market fluctuation due to its relatively low number of shares in issue tbh. From what ive seen its pretty much paralleling the general market with the direction of movement as opposed to any conspiracy theories of note lol This has had a sharp drop from when the 3rd oct trading update indicated those significant losses so wonder how much is already priced in & whether we'll see the opposite of a sharp rise when the uncertainties taken away??

Thats why a confirmation of permissions should give a massive upside boost to the price with those sudden large buys & activity suggesting that outcome imho. -Not long to wait now anyway for what should be a fundamentaly important catalyst for the company moving forwards ( and corresponding price appreciation). atb

I dont know why everyone was getting so worked up for an RNS today - it'll should be here within the week as u say so hardly a long wait lol. Whats really telling for the content & price expectations is the sudden, major increase in volume & price that we saw. Anyone who knows this stock can see something very big is happening here. Low number of shares means itll be difficult to pick up stock as developments unfold Comfortably holding my stock tight atb

then looking towards moving into double figures with full consent of turbine sales & without CS holding the price back - one of the genuine multibagger stocks on aim atm imho atb

RNS should be out some time during the week or possibly later today (theyve got a habit of doing that if u look at previous timings of there releases). Either way VERY soon

2nd in the top risers table & held most of its gain for further news & price appreciation imho.

Theres no way that sort of buying & volume would suddenly appear on this stock unless some big news was about to be released. That should be with us ANY time within the next week or so. The large buys look like someones very positive about where the company & share price are going. Thats not really surprising with the developments that are happening here. The large sells are likely the last of the Credit Suisse holding which was under 5% as of the 16th Oct & bearing in mind the selling was initiated prior to the recent groundbreaking change in the compays fortunes. If thats the case its very good news for when further news is released & less holding back of the price as it moves up to more accurately reflect the NAV & company potential moving forward. Very solid for a rise here imho
