With a bit of luck they'll slide this sideways until September but the way US Q2 GDP is going the Fed may very well blink as early as July and then I can't imagine what holds Gold/Silver back.

All that said, I have to wonder just how bad HUM's Q2 update could possibly be to suppress the SP any/much further in the very short-term as it's so technically oversold now - maybe they can wrangle another couple of pence out of it, maybe they can't but the upside possibilities from way down here .............

BTW - you'll like this - the ADP payroll report is being "suspended" for July (I hear it's carnage in the US already ...) and being mangled to report different numbers via a different method when it reappears in August.

Investment position aside - I'm genuinely interested to see how they play it from here - I'm hoping they batter Gold and Silver in the coming weeks for some more physical metal buying and, hopefully, even better value here so let's see how it goes.

Yes, all my Gold & Silver comes from Atkinsons - they're close to me in Brum :)

It does feel somewhat odd having thousands of pounds of Gold coins rock up in a jiffy bag via the regular postman but it's all insured so no worries :)

I note they have been cleared out of 1/4 ,1/2 & double Sovereigns recently and there's only 17 1/4 Britannias left as I type - perhaps that's meaningful, perhaps it's not.

Anyway, fingers crossed for the de rigeur flash crash on Gold/Silver in the coming weeks but I'm not relying on it.

If there's better value out there then I don't know where it is.

I don't know about the GS call but I've got a medium-term intermediate target for Gold of c$2.4k with the move towards that starting in H2 2022 - that's been my view from a year ago but of course I cannot know what price that move starts from although anything above $1,720 is fine to my eye - I'm buying physical myself right now so I'm keenly awaiting/hoping for a flash crash of course :)

As for Silver, I'm hoping they dump it in a few weeks time into the $16.50-$19 area where I'll be buying a substantial amount of physical silver myself.
