FWIW - It'll certainly be > $1,500 IMO but fingers crossed it's terrible again and they knock another penny or two off the SP as it's kinda moot when set against the value of Dugbe & Kouroussa.

They're reaching for that multiplier bottom print now/over the rest of H2 - I've got my own number, the spivs have their's, as likely as not it's the same number - waiting patiently ...

I was just enjoying the notion of a sale not going ahead because someone will want to do some serious DD on a £200m transaction - as if that's not how it goes anyway with any £200m transaction :)

Well the threat of losing Russian O&G helped send O&G flying so let's see what happens through H2.

New EU package of sanctions against Russia (7th package) - European Commission statement 15 July:

They're reaching for the bottom on Gold/Silver now - could take some weeks/a couple of months to play out so plenty of time perhaps.

Why top up now?

Well I'm on a schedule throughout 2022 and if I'm buying physical Gold at £1,600 oz, why wouldn't I buy it at £10 oz? The risk/reward factor is off the scale.

I genuinely hope lower numbers do come here in H2 - I haven't deployed my £20k ISA money yet and I'd love a single-digit average.

Value will out regardless but fingers crossed for some bad Q2 numbers soon and an epic buying opp as Gold calls out the Fed/BoE.

Took a bunch more 1/4 Gold Brits and Silver Brits earlier.

That CPI print demands +100bps IMO if they're serious about taming inflation (they're not of course) but let's see what they do in a couple of weeks time ...

Markets/economy/debt can't handle that of course so we're into the meat of this now in my "H2" timeline ...

Gold's daily RSI now @ 23.8, heavily oversold - the Dollar is flying in expectation of the Fed throwing a big rates increase at the inflation issue which is shoring up the value in GBP of my Gold & Silver and HUM's 2.75m ounces of Gold in GBP too of course.
