New thread in the expectation of a pile on.

"I believe we have reached the point where FG has made some fairly *explicit* claims and has to soon start delivering."
As the CEO of the company he is limited in what he can say via RNS. That's the same for everyone and it's why you get disclaimers such as "forward looking statements" at the bottom. Read the actual words in the statements, for an RNS from any company, and you will generally find that there is no guarantee of delivery of the words. Indeed the words are chosen to avoid doing so. The same applies to statements made off RNS, in podcasts and tweets. Again listen to what is being said and you will hear no guarantee of delivery.

Francesco Gardin, Executive Chairman and CEO of QBT, commented:
βWe are extremely pleased to have completed this Β£2 million fundraise, as we believe it will fund the Company through to revenue."
"We Believe" is not a guarantee. "Revenue" is both undefined and meaningless without any idea of costs.
How many other shares have you invested in, or not, where something in an RNS became reality versus the times when it did not happen? How many times has someone else stated "We believe this placing will fund us through to revenue." and then, whoops, another placing 6 months later?
Even @Jez uses the phrasing,
"I believe we have reached the point..."
Now before some of you go off on a rant and report this post for defamation. The above is written on the basis of a 'comment' from the CEO of a Company and, as you all should know, it is standard fare for such people, delivery or otherwise, to choose their words carefully.
How much trust you place in such words and how you decide on such trust is a choice for yourselves.
