Isn’t it time they made that official announcement that the Italy MDC is fully operational. How on earth do they put a timeline on anything else, all those projects listed - if they can’t deliver on time, the costs increase across many areas of the business. According to their own brief, they are meant to be concentrating on this one - the showroom that enables them to showcase the technology. The announcement was to be Christmas and now we are in March and still waiting patiently. When you say 2023, use the term loosely.

Have to agree with Croqman too. This board should be about all views and not resorting to derogatory comments and name calling when you don’t like the alternative opinion. Have to say C909 has stated the obvious at times and been chastised for it . . . and then look what has emerged. You never know what experience a poster has and that’s why everyone’s input should be welcome.

If you think it’s acceptable for a business to announce that a deadline is going to be achieved ‘by Christmas’ but they don’t have to say which one, you really can’t have worked in a very professional environment.
Computer is grating you because you probably don’t like to hear the facts that are being quoted. Like it or not, he’s stating the obvious, that they keep missing their OWN deadlines by a mile - or should that be another Christmas!

For those discrediting others who have an alternative view, that you deem as ‘anti’, negative, even calling them out, wake up and smell the coffee.
The company, not them commenting on it, announced prior to Christmas that the MDC would go live and be fully operational. Fast forward over two months and still no sign of.

For all your repeated older research notes, potential projects, conversations, whatever - it is only that, nothing more. Potential partners want to see closure, that when a company sets its own timeline for completion, very publicly, it hits it. Until that latest tech plant goes live, they are no further along the path to credibility.

Someone said ‘what are you on about all sector stock is down’ - not so, AFC are up 43% since the beginning of the year and PHE have followed with increases.

But if Eqtec can’t even close a project in their own timeframes which is what those investing want to see, then the credibility as a company is lacking altogether and the interest will be lost. Delay after delay affects everyone involved.

It should not matter whether it’s fizzy drinks or gasification. Someone at that level should have his finger on the pulse, know where they are at with the project and not announce anything until they are absolutely sure they’ve passed all testing successfully and are ready to go live. He’s certainly done more harm than good and tripped the company up over a basic rule when it comes to communication.

Forgive me aandi, but with that much experience, he really should be able to hit the ground running and should know better than to make such a bl***y faux pas!

It’s not a case of ‘relax time will tell’. They simply lack professionalism - it doesn’t matter how big an organisation you are, you simply don’t post on social media a comment that leads everyone to believe something that simply isn’t the case. Credibility goes out the window and it will now take consistency and a commitment to their own timelines and delivering when they say they will, to be taken seriously. Who knows if there are further glitches, they didn’t factor that in when making their ill advised statements. At times it’s been cringeworthy.

Without the ability to close a project in a timely manner, they are going nowhere.
They lack credibility when it comes to negotiating with others as they have no history of successful completion. Just a couple of those public announcements stated the following . . .

That last was over 18 months ago and where are we now . . . no further forward and still no sign of an MDC, the ‘showroom’ being fully operational. They will slip down the pecking order every time if they can’t prove they can complete to timescales.

I think the majority of professionals who either work for a company or have their own business, just wouldn’t do something so stupid as to announce a project closure without being a 100% certain - particularly as they have a history of missing them repeatedly. You certainly wouldn’t insinuate it on social media, it’s all a bit amateur. Their communication and marketing has been a shocker, in fact completely embarrassing at times. Moving forward they need to think more carefully about their strategy and the way they communicate to the outside world - they’ve done themselves more harm than good and they don’t seem to be learning the lesson particularly fast.

So it’s down to feedstock being wet. The announcement came prior to Christmas, indeed ‘it was beginning to look a lot like Christmas’, for it now to be running into February. A whole month just for the stuff to dry out and for the plant to be fully tested with a not so faulty valve. And still we wait . . .
Wow, organisations are really going to fall over themselves to sign up to that. Best get used to a month of non production and power cuts just in case.
The testing in the universities must surely have included feedstocks exposed to various conditions and to then factor in the storage solution to combat any potential problems.

If that’s the case, they clearly did not put anywhere near as much thought into the storage solution compared to the tech then? Without the dry feedstock, there is no clean energy solution. Did they not think about that one beforehand, it’s equally as important as the rest of the equipment. After all, Italy certainly isn’t dry all year round and neither are any of the other countries they have projects in the ‘pipeline’ for. All a bit eleventh hour isn’t it.

For some on here it’s a case of lashing out with the comments when they don’t like what they hear, you have a differing opinion - you are deemed to be negative, brainless, a de-ramper etc.

Nope, I for one am just fed up of the very long wait. Quite simply, they need to fire up the tech and get things moving.

it’s not 10 million shares though is it, because those same large amounts, sometimes higher, have been dumped everyday after the bell - over the last 3 weeks. So it’s well over 100 million and at a guess probably near the level where disclosure is required. So if it carry’s on much more, we will know who.

My facts are there has been large selling over the past 3 weeks. The company have consistently missed their own targets

How rude are you? People have a right to their opinion and I’m sure they can read. All sectors have been affected one way or another, not rocket science is it . . . but how many companies out there, keep posting their own timelines, in fact singing about it, yet keep missing them by a mile! Just unprofessional when the aim should be, to be taken seriously!
