The strategy of placings because they can’t manage money any other way is all they seem to know. History shows they can’t control spending, struggle with a basic business plan/model and longterm vision (it’s changed that many times over the years), financial planning is non-existent and they fail to respond and set aside any emergency funds when they’ve got over 55 million at their disposal. Where is the business brains in any of that. They’ve thrown money around at projects that they didn’t remotely think through, lots of talking, yes really lots of talking, but consistently failing to come up with the goods. MOU’s come to nothing because of it - what future partners/clients trust in that performance. Exactly what are their attributes as business leaders. DP joined in 2018 as a ‘growth and investment advisor’ - what has he grown apart from his own bank balance. They need to leave and get someone in who knows how to steer a tight ship and keep firm control; nobody is going to take this company seriously until they are both out the door for good.

As Simms says, very much the local council meeting format rather than any detailed updates. Would be good to hear something from them on this particular project really soon.

They need to be proactive here in the UK and get the tech noticed, a foot through the door early to discussions - it’s not all about wind/nuclear, we need a range of alternatives to be more self sufficient as a country. Least Boris isn’t around with his coal shovel ;-)

The BoD should go by the moniker ‘trytrytryagain’ when it comes to their ability to handle the finance, close projects in a timely manner and business manage effectively. Northfork, which was anticipated to come online February and had millions thrown at it by them, still isn’t operational and there has been no detailed update for months, particularly for something that’s meant to be so big for the company moving forward. They will not get back much more than we threw in. This BoD needs to go and let someone take over who has business acumen, is motivated to move things in the right direction and not just turn it into a confetti factory and has respect for PI’s.

Investors will not forgive, until they both leave the company. What business acumen do they actually posses, when you look at their performance since they came in post.

Northfork was meant to be February, we are in June and since no sign. Exactly how long have they been making attempts to get that one going. All the others you mention Simms, what timeline do you think they will be given for completion. This share price has been slaughtered because of poor management decisions across many areas of the business. How do you even begin to attract new investors with that track record.

Northfork ready to be switched on? - where have you read that. The CDC hasn’t posted any Board minutes of their meetings since January and that one mentioned very little. If you’ve been here a while, you will remember that they used to give an update, with Eqtec even clarifying them on occasions. The April meeting was today. The silence from this BoD is deafening and they certainly don’t communicate with the shareholder.

And of course his and JVL’s explanation about those ‘engineers’ - that if you want the best, you have to pay for it. The best, really?, the same ones that still can’t get Northfork fired up and all the others over the line in any time frame whatsoever and who’ve only generated a pittance rather than power.

I would love to know who’d snap this BoD up and pay better if they were to go and work elsewhere.

The NFCDC used to report progress in their board minutes. You would have thought Northfork which is supposedly due February, would have been mentioned in detail as there would surely be a flurry of activity. We’ve thrown enough money at it and yet still silence.

Agree with your post mjallen but we take forever to get things over the line and risk another solution to the problem taking precedence.

No minutes from NFCDC Board since August 2023 to refer to, so who knows where we are with the commissioning process. All well and good looking at the websites of those involved, but we know how the management of projects has gone to date.

Wholeheartedly agree, this management team of JVL and DP needs to go. If they had an ounce of management expertise, the company would not be in this shocking position. Since they’ve been in post, the company have flitted from one solution to another with no longterm business strategy, appalling handled the finances to the tune of squandering in excess of 50m and taken so much time that those potentially interested, lost interest and bailed out long ago. You can have all the conversations in the world and boast about pipeline of pipelines and MOU’s, but unless you attain project closure, you lack all credibility and mean absolutely nothing on paper.

I never thought this management team would be as badly performing as they have been, we cursed the last ones - but if they recognised any form of accountability.

As for the so called ‘best engineers etc that we ‘pay more for’, where are they? They completely fail to get plants up and running anytime soon. I’m sick of hearing them bleat on about how every other business has suffered the same, the pandemic and world events, financial pressures etc; that is where you have a business continuity plan in place that you constantly review and set aside necessary funds. That minor detail and management strategy, went out the window - actually it never arrived. This is very basic stuff.

Shameful that they consider themselves worthy of being paid more. My advice DP, JVL, that’s fine by us, go for it, we would welcome your departure and someone else coming in who cares about the business and all shareholders.

They don’t have the decency as a company to even respond to repeated communications via email from a PI - and I’ve held for years.

A lot of you have cursed C909, but they’ve been correct with a lot of their comments to date.

You really think so? This BoD has blown the share price and lost all credibility and confidence in the business with their actions.

Utterly amazing. On the day of consolidation, an announcement comes out, which we have been asking for an update on for months. This is significant and I can’t imagine it has only become evident in the last few days, judging by the comment about the lender.
