Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
I have never seen a whole page of green boxes on this chat before, something very important must have been discussed last night!!!
This last line in Malcy's blog is interesting
" Fortunately the ongoing success of Lancaster gives it the capex flexibility to think about the share price and I can see the significant upside of taking this route."
does this suggest a share buyback?
BlooBird, if you read a bit further down the RNS the carry is defined as below. If one were to be cynical the only reason for the word "carry" to be there is to distract from the fact is is not really there!! Because how much is likely to be spent between these two dates.
Premier will carry all of Rockhopper's costs from 1 January 2020 to 1 March
2020 (being the effective date for the Transaction) and on a bridging basis
pending completion of the Transaction (the "Carry").
wow 84% rise that's quite impressive.
Glad I took your advice falklandinvestor and averaged down to 4p a while back, now in profit.
It states that existing fund arrangement are to be replaced. please point me to anything that states the old arrangements still exist.
my very simple cals are:
Not to to worry about who is doing the lending, but concentrate on what eventually needs repaying
1800m to first oil
old arrangements
40% RKH so 720m minus the 337 carry =383m in debt with 40% to repay it with
new arrangements
30% RKH so 540m minus the 0 carry =540m in debt with 30% to repay it with
no allowance for interest
Please correct me if I have got this wrong, but it seems we will have a larger debt to pay down with a smaller percentage of the project to do so.
However as I said before the likelihood of the project happening is now perhaps greater hence the rise.
CitizenTS this is what the RNS states
Existing funding arrangements between Rockhopper and Premier are to be
replaced such that Rockhopper is funded for all pre- and post-sanction costs
not met by senior debt by Premier and/or Navitas through a combination of
carry and loans.
Premier will carry all of Rockhopper's costs from 1 January 2020 to 1 March
2020 (being the effective date for the Transaction) and on a bridging basis
pending completion of the Transaction (the "Carry").
Premier and Navitas will fund all of Rockhopper's project development costs
(excluding production area licence fees and taxes) from 1 March 2020 to Phase
1 Project Completion (estimated to occur 9-12 months after first oil) through
an interest free loan ("Loan"). Funds drawn under the Loan will be repaid from
85% of Rockhopper's working interest share of free cash flow.
no mention anymore of the 337m free carry that was previously in place.
suresh786, my understand is that it no longer exists. still trying to understand whether we are better of or not , my feel is that is is worst but at least we are perhaps closer to the project happening hence he rise.
Agreed Comertoes , I have several users on filter in fact out of the last 25 posts, only about 8 are showing rest are in green boxes. Keep up to date with sensible posts like moggers and a few others and drown out the noise!
I think Boris was our best chance out of the candidates so thank goodness he won. Obviously there is a negativity about the oil sector at the moment but unless we all want to stay at home and freeze then there really is no alternative for the moment for our overall energy needs. From that stand point then this project makes a lot of sense , jobs, revenue , and Falklands paying down there debt to UK, independent supply. A lot of boxes ticked I think.
From the link mogger kindly put up yesterday, 42 months from sanction to first oil.
LTInv a very brief summary,
What exactly RKH is waiting for? Premier Oil are in the driving seat owning 60% of Sealion, we all await news of funding primarily from UK export Credit fund. Also waiting for the sale of Premier Oil Zama find in Mexico to help easy finances.
What are the timelines? could be anytime now , request submitted in July I think.
Is RKH in the position of surviving until then? should be OK especially if the Egypt assets sale goes through , 1 qu next year.
What are other assets or projects that could potentially represent a plan-B? There is no plan B, Curly thinks it to difficult to try and put one together! go figure.
"Overall I think the management could be more informative and transparent on the progress, and that could certainly attract more investors, and convince the existing ones to hold". couldn't agree more with your statement.
My current worry is that we are given the go ahead and the SP only goes to the mid 20's. So yes 70% rise but hardly great is it. That is a fraction of what i need.
My god I hope you are right Frogga, I'm believing your insight into these events ,although it seems you can't say a lot specifically.
Kuggy I'm probably down 3 times that quite possibly more.
Thanks Mogger for the find.
I've poked around a bit more and found this about Mr Erwin.
"Irwin has earned the respect of clients as an insightful and innovative project finance lawyer. He represents lenders and sponsors in the development and financing of cross-border projects, many of which are the first of their kind in their industry. He has significant experience advising on multi-sourced financing involving export credit agencies, multilaterals and development finance institutions and is a regular speaker at industry conferences. IFLR1000 has identified Irwin as a “Rising Star” every year since 2013 and he has been ranked in Chambers and Partners each year since 2012, where clients report that Irwin is considered “truly outstanding” and highlight his "knowledge of debt financing" and "drive to get the deal done." Irwin is also ranked as a "Next Generation Lawyer" for "Projects, Energy & Natural Resources: Infrastructure" in the Legal 500 2018 rankings and was nominated by in-house counsel and peers to appear in Euromoney’s 2015, 2016 and 2017 “Rising Stars” Expert Guides."
I am reassured that at least someone very good in his field is working on our project.
May it all come good, for all of us here.
NM
Can someone help explain the numbers:
what is 29.0 MMscf/d worth daily ? I think Malcy said $8.35 per something in Singapore.
Trying to get my head around the deal they have made.
If someone here has already written it up then point me to their name and I will look at their posts. Thanks
Why do you always say usename........ on here? What does that mean? What is wrong with you? Where is your empathy with others in here?
I am quite happy to keep my RKH shares thanks, maybe I will make a packet like you or lose like you, but at least I am not trying to drag others in to help my cause by spouting stong buy etc.. . All the time.
Nigoil, you need to step back and look at things from other peoples perspective , you by your own admission have made a vast sum previously from RKH, others have not been so lucky/clever, however you like to look at it. Shareholders here are hurting and your arrogance of making vast sums does not by any stretch of the imagination endear yourself on here! This may still come good, I don't know, you certainly don't know, it's just a gamble you may well be able to afford, but please don't be telling us its a dead cert. The share price action says nobody knows anything positive about this, down again today.
For some reason I hang on to believe that oillesky/frogga were on to something last week, absolute silence from them since, not sure why, just hoping they are proved correct.
And please stop with the boiler room crap , there really is no need of that on here, this share can fend for itself by just a little decent PR instead of or indeed as well as paying curly a wage!
Well i'm seeing zero profit for anybody here over the last few months, probably years, unless they were shorting.
Sorry adopted
