Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
pre2rcd, not sure on the corporate side of things but earlier today there were 3/4 trades then all of a sudden there were over 250 trades with the same time stamp of 10:38:35 at that point the ask dropped to 1p. I bought 50,000 at 10:45:35 although it showed as a sell. This purchase is a pure punt as I have no idea of what is happening with Argos, but at .84p I couldn't resist!
Oil_Up, I think the real problem with your idea is that the readership on here probably only own a few 10's of millions of shares at best...... out of 587 million. A tiny fraction .
buffit, have to agree with you and I thought the same thing having read it yesterday morning. That sentence is ambiguous and badly written considering it is official information and should be crystal clear.
Buffit, I suspect the answer lies in AlmaCogan's post!
If I were a betting man and clearly I am, having been invested here for 12 years! I would bet that neither side has requested a 30 day decision. Which makes sense. Would you make a time pressure on a group to make a decision in your favour?
It was in Hebrew and as such I did not understand a word i'm afraid, but I can say that Sea lion was mentioned throughout the 40 mins presentation. I believe that it does play a significant role in their growth plan and therefore I believe they are very motivated to get this project done.
I may need to ammend my previous post!
decisions by the ad hoc committee 89
so i think the % are 78.6% in our favour 21.4% full or part annulled.
I hope I have it right this time!
I think the stats are even worst than that.
I am only going by DEM post earlier I am assuming that is correct.
"Out of 355 ICSID Awards up to 2021, 156 (44%) are/were subject to Annulment proceedings.
Of those 156 cases, 121 are completed and the remainder pending.
Of the 121 completed cases, 89 decisions were rendered by the ad hoc committee and 32 proceedings were discontinued (ie claimants on ‘fishing’ expeditions).
Of the 89 cases where a decision was rendered, ad hoc committees upheld the underlying award on 70 occasions. Nineteen awards were annulled in part or in full."
So really its 121 cases completed and there were 89 decisions made of which 19 were successful.
Which in my book makes us have a 74% chance of full success or 26% of full or part annuled.
Fair enough M-D, as to RNS no idea, except one thing I have learnt in over ten year invested in the FI oilers, is that things tend to take way longer than anyone would expect! and invariable cost 10 times what anyone would think they would.
I am still scratching my head as to where Rockhopper spent the what was it now, $320 or $380 million dollars they got from Premier Oil. Does it really need to cost that much? I have my doubts.
Any way I did buy 50K shares here a few weeks ago FWIW.
Hey M-D are you thinking that the deal may not go through with JHI? gut feel? or something more substantial.
"They sold about 9.5m by my calculations and yet the SP still went up."
True, but its interesting how they took this opportunity of a trip to the FI and subsequent stories of what happened there which got PI excited to sell out a large chuck of shares! Very convenient....... if I was a conspiracy type of person I might be suspicious... LOL
Very disappointing RAB reducing their holding, hardly a vote of confidence is it! even if they exercise their warrants of which their is no need of at this time.
It would be nice if there was an update as to what exactly Rockhopper and Navatas were over in the FI for, but obviously we don't deserve to know!
Interview confirms what we thought :no dilution to shareholders for the funds needed for Mintails.
That is great news as I do think that was perhaps one of the reasons that we have had a weak SP here.
As long as Gold holds around the current price of $1900, I definitely think the bottom is in for PAF, only upwards from here for a while IMO.
Recap of Mintails
AISC of >$1000
20years + life of tailing

"Every BUY is a SELL for someone."
Perhaps there were sells but from previous days. For today's action it all looks like buys ( except someone had to spoil it with a 100 share sale!) so these shares were on the MarketMakers books that they had accumulated previously and are now moving along. Price has now gone up a bit to encourage sellers as their books are looking depleted.
That is my understanding of it anyway.
I don't see selling pressure on the share trades side of things, if anything I would say it looks more like more buys than sells over the last few days.
I am just wondering if there may be some issue over financing for the Mintails Project. I watched the presentation on the 15 Feb and there seemed to be some questions at the end of that presentation that eluded to a shortfall of capital potentially. There was one particular question that was put to the CEO about current shareholder participating in any fund raising that there may be and MR Loots nodded and said he noted the comment.
Problem is I can find that presentation to re-watch it, and in the slides it seems to have the capital costs covered via loans etc.
Does anyone else remember those questions at the end?
Had to buy another 20K shares, it would be rude not to!
found this one instead it gives the basic facts.

Thanks for that info but the link looks wrong, any chance of a new link?
Could the above news event be the reason for a bit of nervousness with investors? quite a few apparent sells today.
On IG website at 10am this morning interview with CEO
It is exploring for gold, copper, and rare earths. IG TV’s Jeremy Naylor caught up with CEO, Alex Walker.
