Don't be ridiculous Louis, if you don't know how these are done then don't speculate. If you do then it's deliberate FUD.

They took a strategic decision to restructure the company approach in line with full O&G protocols, from top to bottom, including the health and safety protocols. There have been some nasty incidents on other drills and I think they're trying to position themselves (or show off) as a flagship company in the region, especially if they want to generate income as a trusted supplier by renting out the drill and crew to others in the future (including the government).

Not taking any chances on us speculating on the parts today then ;-)

Maybe they'd like to re-invest all those gains in a Tanzanian helium processing plant, just a thought...

If you’re going to leak to anyone with enough funds to move the share price then it’s more likely to leak to traders via the company’s financial broker than a drill rigger texting his cousin.

I wouldn’t expect a drill completion RNS before the weekend. They will want to reach TD, check, clean and safely remove the drill, before formulating an RNS.

As long as it’s broadly within the contingency budget for the drill campaign that’s OK. It’s an occupational hazard so they will have some level of contingency factored in. Delays are more worrying than the parts themselves but they’ve managed that very well so far.

Slightly surprised not to see a weekend spud announcement from NHE, hopefully they haven’t hit another snag.

I don’t think you’ll get mud logging results until they’ve successfully reached TD but if there were no significant shows so far then yes, that could be a signal that the lake bed seal is working better on this side of the fault line.

No it won’t. They will do what they’ve said and drill down to TD as quickly as possible, so they can remove the drill and move the rig to Itumbula. Then they will wire line the hole and take samples for independent analysis. There will be an RNS after completion of drilling and another one for the test results. They will not risk announcing ‘discovery’ without confirmation this time. However, I would expect some news about gas shows from the mud logging and on-site spectrometry.

Good news, they did exactly what they said they’d do within planned schedule (again), very confident and continues to build confidence in sound project management (as well as the health and safety drill and civils). I could do without the minor proof reading error on the RNS but we’ll let that go once. Great news, and hopefully next RNS a week today successfully concluding the drill.
