Isn't it odd that even Nanoco have made no announcement on this, and aren't chasing it?
The ban doesn't seem to be in place, yet no extension to the exemption has been announced either.
You'd think that this would be an important factor for any bidders looking for cadmium free technology, yet there is just silence about it from nano, and from the EU. What gawan?

Must have missed the 55-65 trading range: didn't it actually peak at 55 in 2019?

The FCA daily spreadsheet indicates that Teton Capital Partners, L.P. have had a 0.67% short position in Nanoco since November 2012. This is the oldest entry on the spreadsheet. Teton are a hedge fund from Austin Texas. Is it likely they have they just forgotten to notify the FCA that they closed the position long ago, or have they seriously not found an exit point in all that time?

Actually 3 recent increases by Griffiths, another one reported today, and he's the second biggest holder with 13.76%

This downloads a spreadsheet which you then have to search for Nanoco.

Yeah, one site says that, others say it just went straight to 1.24.
What do you mean by the FCA data? The Financial Conduct Authority just collect it, so I assume they are the source for all the other sites, I don't think they publish it themselves?

Shorting info seems a little unreliable. One site says GMT reduced slightly on 27th, and they all seem to claim another shorter who has supposedly held their position unchanged since 2012, which seems highly unlikely. The lse shorting graph for nano even seems to be based on a different data source than the raw data shown alongside it? Anyway, the Griffiths longs more than cancel out the shorts, fortunately!

Unclear who or what you are responding to Nige-W. researcher1 wasn't even talking about the sale price, but about comparing current prices to historic prices. There is no evidence that there are 2 or more bidders, AFAIK, and you have already admitted that that is merely your assumption.

Does seem odd. Market makers seem to be going for volume rather than margin, when it looks like they don't need to choose, and could have both? Plenty of stock, I guess.

I don't think AirtelA do themselves any favours by reporting in $'s and 9 month periods! Makes it harder to judge value for the average investor. Quarterly figures alone might be more easily digestible, but they mix and match them confusingly.

Results seem excellent, particularly the rapid rise in the customer base, and increasing revenues from money transfers, but the SP remains flat. Looks cheap to me, time will tell.

Correction, not "yesterday", actually earlier today (28th).
To be clear: Griffiths have upped their stake twice, on consecutive days, 27th and 28th. Keep em peeled for tomorrow!

I suppose what researcher1 means is, for the company to reach a pie-in-the-sky SP like £1.50 again, it would be doing so with more shares than 5 years ago, due to dilution. In other words, the pie got bigger so the sky is higher.

Regarding leakiness, it seems to be selective: little news seems to reach us PIs, about anything at all, but insider moves sometimes seem remarkably fortuitous. Just coincidence, I expect.
