Professor John Oxford was a terrific show illuminating virology, and with companies around the world searching for solutions, his foundation (originally Retroscreen Virology, later nVivo) appears to be as close as anyone to success. My focus is on the orphan drugs databases, but it's hard to argue that this substantial flu work, and wider virus expertise, has less value.
