Results are historical: improving but still technically still not profitable. The share price already discounts a lot of future success, rather than reported revenue achievements, but as I said, the biggest deals are probably yet to come. You seem to want the share price to fully reflect all of those prospective, but unproven future deals, which seems rather demanding, and would leave no room for any further SP advancement once the deals are actually achieved? Anyway, I was just trying to give a newbie both sides of the coin. Allegedly, to be sure.

Compare the CEO's words and what has been delivered MIKODX. Most posters here find the correlation encouraging, with the biggest deals, in terms of revenue, still to come. On the other hand, the SP has already raced upwards, and arguably got ahead of results. As the Irish, allegedly, say: take your pick from that row of hammers.

That's certainly what I took to be it's intention SL: simply providing information. Your "Do people not realise" phrase was completely justified too, because the question you were responding to was very similar to one that had already been dealt with just a couple of posts earlier. It wasn't really an admonition, amerloque, more an expression of surprise. I adopt a similar tone when bombarded with random questions about rocket science from my son: has he not heard of this new thing called Google? Sometimes it's easy to misread the 'tone' in a piece of writing, especially if you take it personally, and particularly if you misread the actual words.

Not sure I like the TENOR of your prediction BtB , but if you're right he can blame it all on Edelman. A single digit SP would be a an appropriate market send-off, considering it descended steadily from a great height while he was CEO.

Can't see any reason to expect surprises in the results though, because so little is expected. Hopefully we'll see a change of style in forward-looking statements, with a more credible assessment of market dynamics and opportunities.

SP has been hovering around 4500 after a major advance following the interims. The company has slipped down Richard Beddard's list because he no longer thinks it is (relatively) cheap, although it holds up well on other critical factors.
Eery cease fire in the trade wars this quarter, with the Chinese presumably waiting for Trump to just "disappear" with the cold weather? Looking for a further increase in revenues from semiconductor equipment and (possibly) healthcare to maintain the momentum.

What is your belief based on Ivyspivey? Has it been referred to in a newspaper article perhaps? The wikipedia article on Human Challenge Studies refers to two proposals which both involve infecting people with COVID-19, not an attenuated version. The article I linked to also refers to infecting people with a live virus for which there is no cure: in it's long discussion of the ethics it doesn't even mention attenuation - if it was involved, the ethical case would surely be far less controversial? AFAIK the details of the HCT have yet to be announced, but failing that, the evidence seems to show that the common understanding of such a trial is infection with a live virus.

Swapleber - this article shows the difference from phase 3 and confirms that they use a live virus, but points out that the infection is still "artificial", in the sense that it is not contracted by normal transmission, so patients automatically have the benefit of 'early detection', and can be treated immediately if the vaccine does not work. In addition, it seems possible to screen participants to reduce the risk even further, using AI. The risk is therefore even lower than I stated, although still not zero.

Well obviously, who would think otherwise? However, CF's answer implies that the company has some secret cure for COVID-19 that it is keeping secret from the rest of the world, whereas in truth the so-called "rescue" remedy is just the known palliatives mentioned by Ivyspivey, which are not cures, and have not been able to save the thousands dying on a daily basis, all year, worldwide.

They are going to infect people with COVID-19 itself, and while we shouldn't overstate the dangers, we shouldn't ignore them either. CF trumpets hVivos long history of trials without a single fatality, but they were all for less deadly diseases, and some of them had an actual antidote available - for COVID-19 there is none. Like Trump, volunteers will have access to the best medicines and medical knowledge available, and unlike him they will also have youth and health on their side, so there is a high likelihood that they will survive, but a more worrying aspect, perhaps, is the possibility of the little understood 'long Covid' effect, where symptoms such as lethargy linger indefinitely in some patients.

The fact that it has only just turned profitable is only one factor to consider, the market is presumably also looking at the speed of turnaround, quality of management, sustainability of the business model, trajectory, assets, prospects: stuff like that. Lots of successful companies have losses for years while the SP keeps rising, so a narrow focus on profit may not be the best way of assessing the exit point. Never wrong to take a profit though, good luck.
