Thanks Ted, it's interesting that OO already has an answer for the main point addressed in this article, and it shows not only that they are ahead of the game, but also how unaware the general public, media, and apparently, even scientists are about that fact. Noticeably, the Human Challenge Study also addresses another concern being raised in the media - testing vaccines for transmission, not just prevention - demonstrating again their sharpness.
Another takeaway is the disconnect between the public imagination, where success in phase 3 = Endgame, with the far more complicated reality of safe, effective vaccine deployment.
