Excellent top-up time for me as a medium term investment... this will be returning to 1.64/5 levels, that's not the issue. The issue could be the National Lockdown to which I believe has been already priced in since intro of Tier 4 in London and some other areas. Additional lockdown measures remain to be seen but can only be for a swifter return to flights/Holidays & normality!

80p? pmsl, the fool that is whatamess was predicting way lower when we were in the 70-80p range, he's in the hope that investors who were on this bb back then have moved on...but they haven't. If anything whatamess, you, whoisamess, needs to move on as you have no idea about investment strategies, stock market sentiment or finances.. you just chat utter sh*te, and have been since early 2020!

You have to play the situation like the big boys out there, (of which I do not include myself, but understand the mentality), spring/summer is but 1 to 1.5 months away realistically. The virus is understood, as are its mechanics, a vaccine is in circulation regardless of the shortage or application. It has been shown that the virus itself is much less influential during warmer periods.

So the question to ask is when would larger investors like to rather place a bet, the answer impo would be this period on the cusp of bettering climate and a reduction of the virus spread and a somewhat return to normality, especially in the airline community. I believe they've already put in place procedures of a return to 'wheels up', in early spring!

We are in no way the dire position the industry was in last spring, that is for sure!

If people think the Govt. will let UK's flagship airline will diminish into thin air despite it being an anglo-Spanish entity, then you're having a laugh. They would never live down the embarrassment across the globe.

I'm also invested in CINE, which imo has a greater risk associated with it than does IAG/BA. Yes, it may not reach pre-covid price range for a while, but the backing is there for seeing the sp into and above £2-£2.50 region. Naturally the key to this getting aircraft back into service and this is looking ever more promising as the vaccines are being distributed over the nation and people have advanced bookings in place already.

Reinstatement of dividends will also come in time and will again attract major investors!

As a long term investment, I think you'll find you've done very well mate, and at such a young age! If you leave it in here for at least a year or two.. Well, have a look at ITM!... and you'll know what I mean.

Haggis... it could easily fill from this point and sp won't need to descend anymore, as long as the buying is superseded by the sellers... but we nay trade sideways for a bit before next leg to £1 and above. It's only natural.

It's just the way the market works... and AFC isn't alone, most of the rises on the back of brexit news are having to retrace to fill gaps. PHE may be an exception to some degree as it retraced last trading day, and new traders moved in this morning.

Haggis mate, I love you, (in a non-gay way... but as a fellow brother investor in AFC), but I top sliced at 92p, looked as if it was a good call tbh.. and that same amount will be bought back into AFC when the dust has settled tbh. I do understand what you're saying, but we defo have a distressed seller, (as i've been watching over last few weeks.. and this is just their xmas bonus to be at this sp to sell), AND... 65 to 90 is BIG gap... too big right now. I honestly prefer a gradual rise, where I don't have to look over the proverbial shoulder!

My only issue is the Massive gap in our rear view mirror... Today will be a good day, no doubt.. and I have top sliced a profit because I can't ignore the gap... but once this is filled, this will do a phoenix special!

Yes Bing, hence my mention of it. To me it makes sense to take an opportunity, or rather advance the tech to LFT to take advantage of the useless ones flooding the market. PCR is 100% brilliant... but I'm sure we are aware it's "Time factor" is a problem...and if we're aware, NYCT are most definitely aware!

Market dominance is the goal here with superior product.. we've cornered the PCR area, an LFT with very high specificity would rule out the chance of Govt. entities looking to inferior versions, here and abroad!

Wouldn't surprise me if Nova have been putting a lot of focus, time and energy into their LFT tech in an anticipation of the mass requirement for late 2020 to early 2021.

Would be brilliant news if something on that front was dropped as an RNS, following on from their highly successful PCR test.

Pfizer and Astra have yet to announce this... I'm sure the scientist busy bodies are right now trying to verify this. I reckon the vaccine will be less effective, especially the MRNA version of the vaccine IMO.. but then again not my specialist field.

This is the best way to rise... shaking out the weak traders and pulling in the longer termers at a higher price. This will be closer to £10 by the end of the day IMO. I'm happy here as we're the only company in the world, that so far has declared solely that we are able to test for all variants of Covid 19.. which leads me to believe that we'll also be able to detect further variants!

Not only renewed contract, but NEW contracts...as NCYT seems to be the only company that can detect the new variant, and CONFIDENTLY, announce that fact.

Problem I see now is whether vaccines out there are capable of keeping the virus at bay.. proper testing will be able to tell.
