Have begun to buy back today. Three small buys. £2.7k total at 9.49 ish.

A lot of people obviously do not agree with you. Lots of selling. The market obviously saw the RNS for what it was. Confirmed sales figures and revenue are needed BEFORE full year results in July. If not, I believe we will soon see sub 60p, sub 50p etc.

They have to place an order to put the initial stock in the shop. If the stock was selling well then more orders would be needed to replace stock. If this was the case, I am sure the RNS would have had more meat on the bone regarding sales/orders. I appears to me that very few sales have actually been made and the further orders referred to are extremely limited.

That trading update is, at best, an operational update.

A trading update should inform of sales/revenue etc.

It appears that there is hardy any sales to report but management do not want to burst the bubble.

The reference to passing the FSA admin check (filling a form in correctly?) really is clutching at straws. Are the cracks beginning to appear here?

I am sure a few on here will use this as a further opportunity to try and ramp up the sp up but I think the market will see through this.

I will not be buying in on the back on this RNS.

Made me chuckle when you referred to AIM. You did likewise on 1st April and was informed by three posters that it was NOT aim! You really should pay more attention! Consider yourself told off! In fact, it looks like Masda1 is the AIM police as he/she has corrected you both times!!

I do think you have been harshly treated this pm. Genuine questions, in my opinion. Your approach is a tad different to mine. You have dipped a toe in before jumping in. I prefer to wait on the side before jumping in. However, I fully agree with your comments today. Questions should be asked. Answers are not generally forthcoming, however.

My understanding is that the profit margin is hoped to be (eventually) approx 50% but is currently more like 30%. However, that will not be based upon the retail price, it will be based upon the wholesale price. My understanding is that a pack retails at approx $10 of which Zoe only receive about 50%, so approx $5. The profit margin (after cost to produce etc) would then eventually be 50% so about $2.50, but currently will be more like 30% so about $1.50 per pack.

So the current profit per $10 pack is currently about $1.50 which will possibly rise, eventually to $2.50 profit per $10 pack.

Genuine question but a typical response, I am afraid.

Personally, based upon my own research, I cannot find any reference to Chill currently being marketed by Mr Checkout.

On a positive, based upon my own research, Chill is currently being marketed on the LeafyQuick website. There are five products currently listed. Four products have five star reviews (51 reviews in total), one product has no reviews. Four products currently in stock, one currently sold out.

On a negative, yesterday I received a marketing email direct from AATAC (promoting water products). However, based upon my research, when I clicked through to their product section I could find no reference to Chill which seems strange as AATAC is the much mentioned distribution deal.

For transparency, I do not currently hold shares as I am waiting for ZOE to confirm sales/revenue before buying in. In addition, I do not short shares and am thus not short on ZOE.

I would suggest that with a mcap of £156m and revenue of £54k (6 mths to 30th Sept), the potential is already somewhat priced into the sp. What is needed now is for ZOE to prove that their products are actually selling in the stores that they have already been rolled out to. Without this, I suggest the current sp drop from £1+ to £1-, 90p-,80p- will slowly continue to 70p-, 60p-, 50p- etc, etc.

If sales data is good, why are ZOE happy to see the sp slowly decreasing week by week. Surely, the lower the sp, the more dilution will prevail from the initial £15m draw down from LDA Capital ????

Good question. As no-one else has bothered to answer you, I thought I would. Basically , no-one knows when sales data is due. Keepdreaming suggested on Monday at 17.04 that we may have to wait until final results on 30th Sept.

I would personally have thought that, if there significant sales are achieved, that these wound be released via a Trading Update. However, the last one of these was in November (from memory).

This is just confirmation of the RNS 31st March. Old news, but I think you guys know that don't you? Or at least should do!

Why was it dissolved? It was Colorado’s number one selling cannabis brand (as stated on the link you have provided). Again, genuine question, as I do not know the answer.

Vas, your middle paragraph is “bang on the money”. I, for one, am waiting for ZOE to confirm sales numbers and revenue before buying. If that means paying a higher sp, that is fine with me. I see MGC put out an RNS on 7th April stating March/Quarter revenue figures. It is time for ZOE to do something similar, IMO.

What exact CEO expertise are you referring to?

The Food Standards Agency is reiterating its advice to the CBD industry to submit their novel food applications and move towards compliance with novel food regulations. Companies with suitably validated applications should then be able to continue selling their products in England and Wales until they have been considered by independent scientific committees and a decision on authorisation has been made.

The criteria for products which can remain on sale from 1 April 2021 has been updated. Previously, only products which were on sale at the time of the FSA’s announcement (13 February 2020) and were linked to an application which had been validated by 31 March 2021 were to be included. To maximise the opportunity to pass validation, this now includes all products on sale on 13 February 2020 and linked to an application submitted before 31 March 2021 that is subsequently validated.

Emily Miles, Chief Executive of the Food Standards Agency, said:

‘Applying for novel food authorisation is the only way CBD products can remain on sale here. For the past year, we’ve been encouraging all businesses to submit good quality applications as a matter of urgency.

‘However, we have received a large number of applications close to the deadline. This means that, in order to process these properly, we are adapting the criteria of products allowed to remain on sale from 1 April.

‘For some time now we’ve been supporting a pragmatic and proportionate approach to CBD regulation. Our commitment to ensuring that consumers know these products are being checked for safety remains firm.'
Applications are subject to an 8-day admin check, and it can then take up to 30 working days for an application to be validated. These validated applications will then continue through an authorisation process that undertakes checks on safety to determine whether products can be authorised for sale.

A list of products linked to validated applications will be published on the FSA’s website in April and regularly updated.

The FSA will also publish a list of products associated with applications which have not yet fully met the legal requirements to be validated but have set out sufficiently robust plans to prove they are fully committed to delivering the remaining information required. This will include evidence of plans to complete the risk assessment process, with a clear deadline for submission of the outstanding information.

Validation is not the same as authorisation, and there is no guarantee that a validated application will eventually be authorised – each application must follow the comprehensive risk analysis process.

Local authorities will continue to enforce novel food legislation. We have advised them that only products which were on sale at the time of the FSA’s announcement and are linked to a suitable novel food application submitted before 31 March 2021 should remain on sale from 1 April 2021.

How long will my application take?

The law includes deadlines for key steps in the process. In most cases, applications will take at least a year. One month is allowed for the validation process, then up to nine months (on a start stop the clock basis if further information is needed) for the risk assessment element, with up to a further seven months for any subsequent risk management considerations and authorisation decision.

The quality of the dossier, and the information provided, will significantly affect the time needed for assessment and authorisation. We encourage applicants to follow the guidance and provide as much information as possible to ensure we can process your request as efficiently as possible.
