I have previously ordered gummies and more recently oil (blood orange 1000mg) from ZOE online shop. I have also historically bought Jacob Hooy CBD oil 5% 30ml instore from H&B. Anyone know how the strength of the 1000mg compares with the Jacob Hooy 5% brand? Also the strength of the gummies compared to the oil (500mg, 1000mg 3000mg).

The FSI change is that, as long as product was previously on sale 13 Feb 20, they now just need to submit application by 31st Mar 21 rather than have their application actually validated by that date....

The RNS 15th Feb confirmed ZOE had submitted their application and were therefore awaiting validation before 31st March 21 to allow products to remain on sale.

Therefore the FSI update is positive for ZOE in that they no longer need validation by month end. However, it is negative to ZOE in that all other products can also remain on sale, providing that they were previously on sale 13 Feb 20 and an application is submitted (not needed to be validated) by 31st Mar 21. The last paragraph is actually inviting Companies that have not yet submitted an application to get their application on ASAP.

That would suggest that there will be no “clearing of the shelves on 1st April” as only products that have not submitted an application by 31st March will not be allowed to be sold.

Can I ask what your expectations are for the year to Mar 21. Will there be any revenue from store sales for the period Oct 20 to March 21, or will it be online sales only (as per interim results). Are you expecting a profit for this period? It would appear the revenue would need to be £3.5m as a 30% margin to give a gross profit of £1 to cover the admin expenses and thus just about break even. With revenue to 30th September 20 of £54k, that appears unlikely. Is it 20/21 or 21/22 when you are expecting a profit?

I must say that both the US and UK websites seem pretty good visually but £54k revenue for six months works out at approx 360 items (estimated £25 rev per item) being sold monthly. BB2.

Has anyone actually had to pay full price for any order? Perhaps that is why revenue is so low? So many posters on here have ordered items (I’ve spent £200 on gummies and oil), it does beg the question how many non posters actually are ordering items.

Is this one of those death spirals financing agreements? Shares issued at discount and then sold. More shares issued at further discount and sold etc. Or is it different to that? Had experience of those before and decimated the sp. I understand they have no money now due to little revenue and no profit but why do they need to borrow over three year period? Are they not expecting revenue and profit over this time from sales? Thoughts? BB2.

Based solely upon the RNS, which should be correct. The application to validate is in on time, so no problem there. However, the new deal will require the actual authorisation rather than validation. To be honest, if I was the other party in the deal, I would want an authorised product rather than a validated product.

You make a valid point. It would be good to know, for future reference, when shares were received via different brokers.

I use HL and received the shares at about 2pm (from memory, certainly early pm) on Friday. I did manage to buy additional shares soon after about 8.15am but did struggle at open at 8am. For the record, I also managed to buy some (£2,500) in my SIPP via AJ Bell at open at 8am. Certainly was a bit easier to buy with AJ Bell than HL early doors.

Interested in any other comments.

Looking for some diversification away for metals etc.

Come across AMGO and considering.

I like the sector and think it could do well from the COVID bounce in the economy going forward. I did also read about another loan Co that could do very well when the economy picks up (but cannot remember name).

I have read about lots of previous problems and Co stopped lending while sorting. Uncertainty re going concern basis enough cash to continue presently but recent new board with “positive client outcome approach”. See that JPM recently invested so that must be a major positive.

So am I right in thinking a real gamble. Could go bust and lose all my £ invested but could multi bag and be very well rewarded for the gamble?

I see the sp at 12p is massively down on previous years, not checked if part due to dilution or all due to stated previous problems.

Any LTH have anything to add please?
