Morning,

I bought £1k following the worldwide distribution agreement on 18th Feb.

Thinking of adding, as a long term hold, as I like the fact that MGC actually have a product and revenue. Would appear to have more to offer than KNB or CBC at this present time.

Anyone know the margins? How much of the $40.8m retail value from the distribution agreement will be revenue to MGC?

On a separate issue, does anyone have an opinion on ZOE? I am on the fence on this one. Lists of RNS claims of potential sales via shops and online but very little actual revenue and, in my opinion, lots of questions still to answer as regards actual sales etc. Anyone got any thoughts on ZOE? Sorry for this off topic question.

Apologies to all for this off topic post to Geng, but hopefully I have picked a quiet day for AMC.

Geng, I always enjoy reading your technical thoughts but I personally do not really understand the technical side of things. My 14 year old son has been getting interested in investing during this Lockdown period. This week he has started to show me some technical stuff (RSI 70% overbought/30% oversold and basic Japanese candlesticks on charts etc (he has obviously been looking online etc).

Previously, I let him loose with £100 in his Junior ISA which he invested into Churchill Capital Corp IV after reading they were planning a merger with EV car company. Probably beginners luck, but he tripled his £ . Yesterday showed me a chart that he had done on investing.com which he said showed the shares were now overbought (over 70%) and yesterday they had "a candlestick reversal" so he sold his profit and left his original stake invested.

Where do you recommend he looks to further his current basic knowledge on this, please. He is also asking what other technical info he can consider in addition to the above two things. Have you any suggested ideas he can read or watch, please.

Also wandering, if you have a current basic trade (preferably buy) that you feel is currently showing on the technical side of things for him to look at and follow the outcome.

I fully understand if you are too busy to respond but any help and advice would be much appreciated.

I am actually a former LTH from the HNR days as bought in after being impressed with RP at a Proactive Investors event in London. I sold out at about 40p as I thoughts(rightly or wrongly) that the MCAP was too high for where the Co were. I am now researching to decide whether to buy back in.

My comments are all based upon my research and was asking if other LTHs had actually done other research as well as reading the RNS's.

Your explanation matches my thoughts. Basically, we are currently scrubbing about getting the last bits from KE. However, that does not mean that there are not better grades, and easier access to them, to be had from the other pits. A detailed reserve update next month will hopefully show this. Disappointing week but hopefully we can move on from this and there is plenty of positives still. I did speak to Edward Montgomery yesterday (first time) who took my call, listened and explained the RNS. I was impressed with him.

Let’s hope for a positive week next week.

Thank you for your reasoned response.

My very basic understanding is that we are scraping out the dregs of the reserves in the KE pit. This is lower grade and more "dirt" has to be shifted to get the gold in it. Lower grade and more "dirt" combined mean lower production numbers which, due to the largely fixed costs, results in higher AISC.

This explains why the 2021 production will be skewed to lower production in first half of 21 and higher production in second half of 21.

I understand there will be a much more detailed interview on Blytheweigh Business News (hopefully) tomorrow.

The RNS does state.... "the employee has elected to acquire and retain the Option Shares".....

Obviously that is not guaranteed.

It is pretty certain that all the outstanding options (and warrants) along with the CLN will be taken up before they expire. Another £180k into the pot, though.

Morning, I watched Ian Stalker’s interview last night. He was quite impressive and clearly has high hopes for Pacifino (VEIN) and Dugbe.

However, I did not understand his comments of what happens when they deliver the DFS (hopefully later this year) to achieve their 49% earn in Dugbe. He said something along the lines of HUM have the option to invest their 51% share into VEIN.....

Can anyone please explain what this means and an easy to understand explanation of what will happen to monetise Dugbe.

In the webinar, CB referred to existing II as “recent” so on that basis most probably Slater. He referred to the new II as “small Co specialist”........ BB2

Nelson, you are misunderstanding the wording. The production update only includes revenue and earnings actually attributable to JLP. They do not include the revenue and earnings that is attributable to the JV partner (as JLP obviously do not receive that part of revenue and earnings). BB2.

BOB, I am very happy with HL. Not the very cheapest but way to use. You can also deal over the phone, I believe. Using them would have given you about £250 worth of more JLP shares, rather than paying extortionate brokerage fees! BB2.

HL charge £11.95 per trade, reducing if you trade regularly, down to £5.95 per trade if you make 20+ trades in previous month. BB2.

I actually agree with Moneyhawk. A TR1 will depend upon the exact % amount each II bought. If the new II bought under 3% then no TR1. It is down to the II to notify of the TR1 and then the Company (JLP) to issue RNS confirming this. If the webinar comments were made as the % are above 3% then great but it is still down to the II to issue TR1. Until they do, the Company (JLP) do not disclose. From the webinar comments, it would appear the II is a big name so hopefully they will issue TR1 next week but I would not personally say this is guaranteed. BB2.
