Yeah completely agree Anthony. The PR is terrible and hugh does his best but like someone said previously on here, it feels like he’s only after the company makers which is good but doesn’t pay the bills in the mean time. I’ve seen it so many times in the last 10 years where the news flow stops and the price slides. This is the thing stopping me buying more. Like you, I said after the last placing I never would buy more, but these prices do seem cheap. I’ve never had the balls to trade this and never sold a single share, but actually it’s pretty predictable. I’m sure all will come good in the end. Holmwood will possibly be the next bit of news, god knows (and swampy by the looks of it) what that outcome will be on that one.
Ah, quietly confident I feel
Have you got some idea as to what the next steps could be from a legal stand on this Jus with extending the permission?
Will this need to come down in 11 weeks? How will Europa have enough time to drill? Do we need the Tmp in place before all this happens? Can someone enlighten me please.
Maybe because it was more focused to shale? I like to think Hugh has always taken the low key approach and will let the results speak for themselves. Either that or he’s useless at ramping his company up, it wouldn’t be the first time this discussions been had!
bit narrow minded swampy. You don’t know everything, jeeez.
Hugh did mention May Tovoc. I think for our 3 FEL’s with reprocessed data.
Wressle had new application made for 12 month extension in April. I think everyone’s waiting on the EA for Holmwood whether it’s a yay or nay.
Bit hard to tell. They sold on 4 July 2016 and had to notify their holding had dropped to less than 5% not sure if they sold all of them, they have to notify if they drop below 4 and 3% I think aswell so I have no idea basically, best guess
Not sure Rudey but if you click movers on the institutional investors tab m and g have sold a few in the last few months https://markets.ft.com/data/equities/tearsheet/profile?s=EOG:LSE
That’s fine, don’t try and guilt trip us then, it won’t work either I’m afraid. You said you had geologists I was wondering if this was the guy you were referring to that’s all. And where else you have reason to believe the ground water has a chance of being contaminated.
I said before swampy you can’t have ago at us when you have been happily using electricity all these years and not caring where it’s come from. A lot of your spoutings sound a bit like they’ve come from that preacher, David Smythe. What’s your opinion of him? I haven’t worked out his hidden agenda yet but I am aware you pay him for his services. I wonder.
I don’t need to make myself feel better thanks. I completely understand why you are opposed to it, regardless of labels and appreciate I would probably do the same in your position. But I’m not. I care more about profits than your environment, yes. But like you didn’t care for other environments around the country all the years previous, wondering where my electricity was coming from and all the communities it possibly effected. I’ve said before that as a planet we should start moving onto renewables obviously, but also understand we will need fossil fuels for the foreseeable future. Europa aren’t trying to wind you up, they are an oil and gas exploration company and it’s bad luck for you I guess that there maybe some oil under where you are local to. Oil extraction has been around for years tried and tested. We will need to wait for the EA decision to determine if it is safe to drill or not.
There’s both! The Nimbys and the spoon Whittlers. Neither of which would give each other the time of day normally but both with a mutual objective but different reasons for doing so. The spoons for the environment and the nimbys for the house prices. It’s a beautiful thing really and a good thing to come out of this. You should stop being so negative Swampy it’s given you and the locals a purpose in life and you’ll be bored when it’s all done with. Or will you join the spoons on their next crusade?
Ah sorry
You can’t cry when someone throws an empty threat your way. You came on the boards to create a reaction good or bad. You are passionate about what you believe in and investors have money tied up in these companies and we all know how people get passionate about money especially if it’s a living. You knew it would be an empty threat but jumped on it as soon as you could to make you the victim.
No, you have no choice but to tell the truth, I refer you to the FCA message below where you type a message on your phone. Posting inside information that is not public knowledge, or information that is false or misleading, may constitute market abuse. This could lead to an unlimited fine and up to seven years in prison.
Swampy - empty threats are probably just an effect of you posting on these boards and not to be taken seriously. Did you expect some kind of warm welcome with your sarcastic superior comments? Did you actually think you could get investors to ask Europa to abandon the drill? You being here is not going to change the outcome of holmwood, whether good for you or good for us, nobody here cares. Just the same as me going down to the protest site to reason with them, so I don’t! So if it is just the satisfaction you are after than Tacumas description of a Troll fits the bill unfortunately.
ReOpening of the south porcupine data room in May. Hugh did mention m and a in one of the interviews closely followed by the reason the 2 new directors were brought onboard. Interesting if theyve chosen to shake off Holmwood as this was going to be seen as problem in the deal. Just a wild thought.
I see your point but employing 2 new people hasn’t achieved anything negative on the holmwood front has it? Unless Hugh accidentally employed swampy.
