Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
No one would mind Riz if you weren’t so blatantly trying to talk the share down, repeating the same boring message over and over. People have money invested here and you are wishing for them to lose it, what kind of reception did you think you would get? It’s not what these boards are for.
Sometimes I think I could have stuck my money on black or red and saved myself the last 10 years general disappointment and still have been better off. Where’s the fun in that though I suppose. We must be close
Don’t like using drill or drop links but this gives an idea Tacuma. Mainly that it doesn’t comply with national planning policy blah blah blah. https://drillordrop.com/2018/08/01/live-updates-decision-meeting-on-egdons-bid-for-more-time-at-wressle-oil-site/ One of the councillors wasn’t even aware the new application for production had been applied for.
So there isn’t any new info you had Swampy. All that stuff you mentioned before was basically nonsense. I feel you and your guys will start using underhand dirty tactics like fake news and threats as time marches on. Like your leith hill protection camp bragging on their website about the 8th supplier to pull out “The visitor posts on the Tardis Hire Facebook page have since been deleted, presumably because they don’t want negative posts on their page – we’ll be keeping a watch in case they return.” There is obviously some kind of harassment happening here.
So you want it to drop to 3p so you can buy in, then ride it back to 4p Riz? Thanks for confirming it is currently worth it. Jog on.
Agreed the stats are a bit meaningless but shows it’s not a given. You said there was some further news on holmwood last week. Where is this?
there is still only 50% chance of a find. All this might be for nothing remember.
I think Swampy’s answer to that would be not in an AONB but there are better options such as offshore with it being such an eyesore and I would have to agree. This is the point though that the oil was there long before the AONB and it just so happens that it is the best area to drill. It’s no ones fault. For the sake of 3 months drilling just to find out if it’s commercial it would save a hell of a lot of wasted time and effort just to get it over with wouldn’t it? 10 years ridiculous!! The factory that you nice new electric car was created in swampy probably had to destroy a few hectares of land to get built. It’s all about progress.
Maytheforcework I read it doesn’t include regular onshore oil or gas extraction only shale? Could be wrong but there is still a chance it may not go through. Agreed Tacuma
Trust the antis to make a mountain out of a mole hill. https://drillordrop.com/2018/07/17/new-wressle-application-published-with-wrong-location-plan/ Oh god No! Not a slight admin error! Give me strength
Pretty positive, but a few months for wressle and farm in news possibly. I think the majors need a better quality data as they tend to be a bit more careful with where they place their money these days, gives Hugh a better angle for negotiations aswell. No mention of holmwood again. Hmm
It’s at the bottom and it’s old news but

Is this what you are referring to?
As you say without the above ground issues sorted there is little point in what is underneath. We are obviously going to have to apply for an extension for planning - how much longer will this take? It’s been 10 years of nightmare. There are a few potential outcomes imho 1, reapply extension for planning keep plodding in the same direction 2, give some equity away for a free carry and let someone else take the wheel 3, find a different location and start over 4, sell it, Ukog bought 10% for 750000 in shares I think so ours might be worth a couple of mil which for 10 years is pretty grim. 5, a combination of these. stating the obvious I know but it helps to lay it out sometimes. looking at the hype UKOG and the like have created in the Weald it would be far more beneficial to our share price to be part of it at least until it is possibly proven then sell it. It’s just crazy how much of our lives it’s taking.
Was earlier last month, they got it for what appers to be a very good deal for them compared to our previous upland sale. Why is this, given the price of oil has increased?
So some kind of a deal with UKOG and/or maybe ANGS to drill from Brockham pad possibly? I think this has been discussed before as a possibility on these boards. There was a reason that the current site was chosen as I understand though.
Swampy, I guess your are suggesting either Europa are in talks with another company to drill from another Pad, or you are suggesting that Europa are thinking of selling their share of Holmwood? The first instance would mean more planning nightmare and more cost with yet another placing to fund. The second would be a better option but I don’t think we would receive the money we needed, the third option is transferring operator and let someone else take the aggravation. You say it is in the public domain so there is no harm in saying what info you have here as it is just research
There is a 20% chance we will get to 422p! God knows how they come up with these figures sometimes. Looking at the previous presentations through the years that figure has increased hugely but unfortunately so have the dates at the top of the timeline page. I would imagine holmwood is the next SP trigger but a farmout could come anytime. Director buy means there’s probably not a lot happening for another month at least but shows faith from people in the know and wressle looks another year away to be real.
Europa will be working on upgrading Inishkea with reserves and CPR towards the end of the year as Hugh said in last video. Maybe with the view of having a better position for negotiations? This will also be with the upgrade of the other porcupine licences, if these became part of a deal Hugh would want to be in a confident position.
Surely the only outcome you’d be happy with Swampy is no approach at all as your main concern has always been contamination to ground water not just the location of the site. What kind of value at this stage would be placed on EOG’s share of Holmwood, any ideas?
Yeah completely agree Anthony. The PR is terrible and hugh does his best but like someone said previously on here, it feels like he’s only after the company makers which is good but doesn’t pay the bills in the mean time. I’ve seen it so many times in the last 10 years where the news flow stops and the price slides. This is the thing stopping me buying more. Like you, I said after the last placing I never would buy more, but these prices do seem cheap. I’ve never had the balls to trade this and never sold a single share, but actually it’s pretty predictable. I’m sure all will come good in the end. Holmwood will possibly be the next bit of news, god knows (and swampy by the looks of it) what that outcome will be on that one.
