What if wressle production is accepted but the the appeal against refusal to extend the site retention gets rejected?

The firm advised that some directors have undertaken to subscribe in the placing and open offer for at least 1.5 million shares, representing a participation of at least GBP45,000. - shows a little faith but these guys are on good money so I think it should be more, still if they burn through this money like they did with all the other placings they can probably ‘top up’ on the next one in a years time
Well we knew that was coming I think. Hugh doesn’t sound very positive on wressle though.
“At this stage there can be no certainty as to the outcome of the planning application with regards to the Wressle oil field development”
New venture in Morocco. I hope this isn’t the beginning of another never ending story. Not many comments from the usual guys this morning everyone’s seen this before. I hope something can be achieved here. If wressle can be pulled off and all the Irish stuff drilled with inishkea we will be laughing. At least we can see they’ve been doing something in europa towers
These 2 were mentioned in the last placing. Any further news on them I may have missed?
funding the equity share of a 3D seismic survey over the Cloughton gas discovery in PEDL 343 in order to optimise drilling location
funding the equity share of a 2D seismic survey over the Hardstoft oil field in PEDL 299 so as to detail the structure and site a well

Final results 17th October:
“planning has commenced with a view to drilling a well in 2019.”
Article 31st October:
“Up until the BEGINNING of this month Europa hadn’t ruled out drilling off the Irish coast next year.“
So they knew no drilling was taking place in 2019 at the beginning of October before they released final results where they mention a few times it is possible?
There is some bulls**t going on here from either the article or Hugh
Oh no I agree with you. It’s unacceptable but they’ve been trying to farm out these assets for years, all I meant was I’m getting used to it, I personally didn’t really think they would be drilling in 2019 but maybe something has happened in the last few weeks as you say that has put an abrupt stop to that idea such as approvals, potential funding etc. I agree an rns should be released explaining this or it could be perceived as just stringing is along.
All you need to do is look at the timelines on Eog’s previous shareholder presentations to realise predicted deadlines aren’t really their strongpoint, Hugh was predicting possible wells in 2015 for Ireland back in the day,

stop making a mountain out of a molehill Swampy. Europa didnt tell its investors the proposed sites were refused due to threats from protestors - that was just drummed up on these boards probably to wind you up.
everyone involved in this were just fighting fire with fire. there was no middle ground to be had. the protestors didnt want it and nothing anyone could say was going to change their mind so what was the point? there was always a glimmer of hope something would turn up thats why it was dragged out, now, let it go
Is it possible to increase the production by much at WF with a work over? 10-20% maybe? I guess we’ll get some news of this by the end of the year. It tends to cost a bit so let’s hope it’s successful.

Every board on LSE is full of posters who think their share is gonna be a 10 bagger one day. We’re all clueless really, just place your bets and wait is all we can do. PVR are as good as any. Even a 2 bagger would be nice it’s all speculation
I assume with final results will come that old vague phrase ‘farmout talks are ongoing’ then maybe get some news towards the end of the year as Tommy and the Irish article stated. I can’t foresee much more ‘meat’ than that but I’m probably wrong
Hugh did state in a previous interview that the median time for farmouts is 330 days. Kosmos took 80days which is considered fast as was Cairn at 90 days. Don’t be disappointed if it’s Not the end of October. We get new data from Cairn this month for reprocessing, final results should be ok with price of oil at $80. unfortunately Ireland may become a problem with the banning of fossil fuels. With the Shannon LNG terminal with new backers Hugh and the team need to get a wiggle on getting Inishkea farmed out or else they will lose their USP with that one as the government looks to reduce their emissions.
Pipe dream indeed but wouldn’t the idea be to sell the asset before it reached production?
Stating the directors were in a restricted period from start of employment would have triggered a price increase on the hype of the possibilities and created something you state don’t like dunderhead which is false hope. I would think if BOC was in a restricted period they all would be?
BOC doesn’t put his his hand in his pocket much at all looking at his history. He has options here at 6.5 p so maybe he’s confident he can just scoop these up and surpass the 10p mark with little risk?
Personal links would of helped his decision is what I mean. I said to you long ago most of us aren’t here for uk onshore as it such a pain in the neck these days as we all know. An aim listed oil and gas company need as many hopeful strings to their bow as they can get. Which is probably why Hugh persued it for as long as he did. He went too far down the rabbit hole to give up. His job is to increase the share price and the oil and gas industry is built on a punt at this level. Had there not been the transport issue this would probably have been drilled ages ago so it wasn’t a landslide for you, bear that in mind. EOG are no longer persuing new uk onshore licences as Hugh has said before.
It doesn’t take a genius to work it out swampy. Michael Gove, Surrey MP. You probably know him or one of your posho friends does.
Price held up ok. Most the shares here are tightly held. Congratulations Swampy, not sure the party will be my bag so I probably won’t go, I don’t like folk music. What will you do with all your free time now? Europa has done some well stimulation before I think, good idea to make hay while the sun shines. There was an increase of about 30% before I believe. Interested to see what they will do.
Sounds like you’ve been burnt before maybe on the hype someone else gave you. Don’t wish ill of other people Riz, things can come back to bite you.
