Sneaky - I think that Mologic if off the board - the Own brand Visitec test (developed with Mologic) with the new delivery method outlined superseded it and would be the test that may get home use approval. Mologic may get US approval after US studies.

This has been speculated about for sometime - just hope that this time HMG do not backtrack. Could this possibly be what ODX have been lined up for?

Missed the start of SJ’s speech but did not specifically hear mention of LFT’s. Surely as heralded in the press LFT’s will precede PCR tests as otherwise the system will simply not cope. The devil is always in the detail, we have another date slipped into the mix of August 16th and everything points to the sovereign test produced by ODX finally being ready to go as the Innova EUA lapses. I would have liked a more positive comment but reasonably happy that after a frustrating and painful delay Stage 4 will finally be ODX’s coming of age.

The fact that HMG were proposing that those returning from holiday would test rather than isolate was reported in the press last week - Times and Mail from memory. The article suggested that children did not need to be vaccinated to travel and upon return from holiday all take LFT each day for 7 days, providing each days test was clear you are free to come and go without restriction. I believe we are awaiting final confirmation of this but trials ongoing.

Can it just be a coincidence that video comes to light of MH making a fool of himself and resigning just as emails come into the public domain confirming he was actively involved in pushing his friends company forward for large contracts? Headlines stolen by his affair that would otherwise be focused on cronyism.

I agree Chris if you don’t pay for something you don’t value it. Keep up the good work and use up the Innova tests as quickly as possible.

Me too Silverpixels but the cronyism seems all too blatant at the moment - power corrupts.

The Guardian reported that 600m tests had been issued but relatively few have been used, it would seem that Lord Bethell tweet refers to those that have been used. We probably all have tests lying around the house/office but since the FDA report and double vaccination we have little incentive to use them, this is unlikely to change until we have a UK produced sovereign test that society can rely on and which can be used to fully open the economy - yes even if we have to pay for them ourselves.

That surely is the point Twatcher, we don’t know how many were ordered and or delivered/committed - why the secrecy? We are paying for them, release the information, this is the sort of secrecy that leads you to believe they have something to hide and helps no one.

Tricky, I agree Jimmy needs to get some perspective and as for the 9 recommendations, just disappointed.

Jimmy if you feel so strongly stand for election and do something about it - no of course you won’t, stay on the sidelines and post rubbish from the safety of your bedroom.

Surely we knew this already - like ODX they have a test approved for professional use - it is news on the elusive home testing approved that both companies need.
